(Minghui.org) Below are letters from two readers who shared stories of how people escaped danger by taking to heart the words “Falun Dafa is good.”

Jiangsu Resident Escapes Likely Death

My vacation to the Yading Scenic Spot in Sichuan Province last October went terribly wrong. I developed altitude sickness, which aggravated my diabetes. The hospital soon issued a “critical condition” notice to my family, as I was fading in and out of consciousness.

At that moment, I remembered what a family member told me before I left for the trip, “If you encounter any difficulty or danger, remember to recite 'Falun Dafa is good.'”

I repeatedly recited the verse whenever I came out of my coma. My condition was later upgraded to fair after going through three hospitals, with the last one in my hometown of Jiangsu Province.

Thanks to Falun Dafa, I escaped danger.

80-year-old from Shanghai Survives a Fall Down the Steps

I hosted a friend from Shanghai when the 2011 International Horticultural Exposition was held in my hometown of Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province.

Prior to the trip, Mr. Lu canceled his travel plans twice because of heart attack. He didn't want to miss the Expo, though, so I reminded him again that sincerely reciting “Falun Dafa is good” would bring him good fortune. He was very receptive. After all, I had helped him quit the Chinese Communist Party several years ago, and he knew about the goodness of Falun Dafa.

I took him for sightseeing after he came to Xi'an by himself. While walking down the steps of a tourist attraction, he slipped and fell. I rushed to help him and asked, “Are you okay?” He said he was fine.

He was 80 years old, and had a history of high blood pressure and two stents in his heart. Falling down the steep steps could have been fatal for a person like him.

He however continued the sightseeing that day and the next few days, without feeling tired at all. He actually felt better than normal. He didn't have to use any medication for his heart ailments. During the one-week trip, he only took the blood-pressure medicine twice, which he normally had to take every day.
