(Minghui.org) China's former Deputy Minister of Health, Huang Jiefu's public comment during China's legislative conferences confirmed that the organ transplant business chain of interest “was broken” after Zhou Yongkang, a former member of the Politburo Standing Committee, was arrested.

At a press conference during the legislative conferences, Huang Jiefu was asked why hunting down “big tigers” can change the practice of harvesting organs from death row prisoners. (The Chinese state-controlled media labels corrupt officials “tigers” and their internal struggle in the name of anti-corruption campaigns as “tiger hunting.”)

“It is obvious,” Huang said. “Zhou Yongkang is a 'big tiger'. Zhou was the secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee (PLAC) and a former member of the Politburo Standing Committee... Isn't the origin of using death prisoners' organs quite obvious?” As the head of PLAC in charge of domestic security, Zhou was in the position of deciding harvesting organs from death prisoners and prisoners of conscience.

Although Huang only talked about using organs from death row prisoners, killing Falun Gong prisoners of conscience for their organs has been exposed and would share the same chain of interest.

The United Nations Committee Against Torture raised concerns in a November 2008 report that the boom of organ transplantation in China coincided with the persecution of Falun Gong.

In July 2006, former Canadian Secretary of State David Kilgour and Human Rights lawyer David Matas published their 140-page report confirming that there were at least 60,000 cases of organ transplantation surgeries completed in China between the years 2000 and 2005. More than 40,000 of them were forcefully taken from living Falun Gong practitioners.

Minghui.org has also provided evidence of cases where the communist regime harvested organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.

In one article published on Minghui.org, the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (zhuichaguoji.org) reported that a former policeman in Liaoning Province provided an audio testimony about his involvement in live organ harvesting.

In the recorded audio, he said he had participated in arresting and torturing detained Falun Gong practitioners in 2002. He witnessed two military doctors cutting two kidneys and a heart from a living female Falun Gong practitioner. inside the Shenyang Military General Hospital on April 9th, 2002. She was not anesthetized.

In another reported case, Ms. He Xiuling, a 52-year-old female Falun Gong practitioner of Zhifu District Yantai City Shandong Province, was sent into Yantai City Liuhuangding Hospital on March 8th, 2004. Three days later, a director Li from the 610 Office of Zhifu District told her family that Ms. He had passed away. Her body, he said, was in the Yantai City Liuhuangding Hospital.

Ms. He's husband, Xu Chengben and a few family members came to the hospital morgue shortly after 7 A.M. on March 11th. But the corpse they had expected to see still had a pulse, and tears coming out of its eyes. The wrists were bound tightly and showed multiple ligature marks.

The family told the doctors and nurses that Ms. He was still alive. A doctor came down to the morgue and ran a cardiograph with her. When the doctor saw that her heart was still beating, he fled the hospital and disappeared. Nobody tried to revive her.

Later, an insider told Xu that his wife had her kidneys taken when she was alive. Local police at first offered Xu 100,000 RMB to keep silent about the case. Xu declined the offer, froze her body as evidence and started to appeal for his wife.

Unfortunately, no court in China would accept his appeal. After two years of fruitless fighting against the communist authority, Xu published an article online claiming the that the authorities took his wife's kidneys. Xu was arrested the second day after the article appeared online and was fatally poisoned while in custody. Ms. He Xiuling's body was also forcefully cremated.

Zhou Yongkang, a main culprit behind the persecution of Falun Gong, will only be tried for his corruption. The communist regime is still trying to cover up its evil organ harvesting operation to the best of its ability.

However, the truth will eventually come to light. We hereby implore those who have participated or are still participating in organ harvesting to reconsider their actions and the victims who have suffered. The victims may be gone, but their justice will be administered.

The heavenly law supersedes the communist regime's will. Zhou Yongkang has been detained. Jiang Zemin will be next.
