(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 7 province. According to this report, 4 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, at least 28 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Yanqiu Became Ill in Prison

Ms. Wang Yanqiu was transferred from Liaoning Women's Prison to Masanjia Prison. She now has symptoms of severe illness as a result of being persecuted, including high blood pressure and stroke.

2. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhao Ronggui Sentenced

Mr. Zhao Ronggui was secretly sentenced to four years in prison by the Jiangyang District Court in December 2014. He was arrested on April 22, 2014, and held in Naxi Detention Center.

3. [Wuning County, Jiangxi Province] More Than Nine Falun Gong practitioners Arrested

Mr. Liu Cheng, Mr. Tian Xiangui, Mr. Zhong Xingxiu, Mr. Wang Chuanhuang, Mr. Zhang Hanxu, Ms. Li Xuanqin, Mr. Zhou Qiliang, Mr. Wang Liming, Mr. Liu and other practitioners were arrested on March 21, 2015.

4. [Dongguan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liang Yilin Arrested

Ms. Liang Yilin was arrested when she distributed Falun Gong informational materials on March 16, 2015.

Ms. Mu Yufang was arrested on the afternoon of March 10, 2015. Her whereabouts is unknown.

6. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zuo Jun Arrested

Mr. Zuo Jun was arrested when he spoke to others about Falun Gong on March 23, 2015.

7. [Jinan, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Zishu Arrested

Ms. Wang Zishu, 72, was reported after she talked to a teenager about Falun Gong in her store on the afternoon of March 21, 2015. She was arrested and held in a detention center.

8. [Beijing] Ms. Liu Defen and Others Arrested

Ms. Liu Defen, Ms. Zhou, Ms. Chen, Mr. Ju Xing and other Falun Gong practitioners from Shijingshan District were arrested in March 2015. Their whereabouts is unknown.

9. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Chongna Arrested

Ms. Liu Chongna was arrested by Liu Jie and officers from the Huancui Domestic Security Division at noon on March 9, 2015. She has been held in the Weihai Detention Center ever since.

10. [Guixi City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Xiong Ying and Ms. Peng Chunfeng Arrested

Ms. Xiong Ying and Ms. Peng Chunfeng were arrested on March 21, 2015, when they were talking to people about Falun Gong. They are held in the Guixi City Detention Center.

11. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Huanrong and Four Others Arrested

Mr. Li Huanrong and four other practitioners were arrested on the evening of March 14, 2015. Mr. Li's home was ransacked.

12. [Yiyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Hua Sheng and Mr. Zhang Xinjiang in Prison

Mr. Hua Sheng and Mr. Zhang Xinjiang are held in Wangling Prison.

13. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Shi Luwen Tortured

Ms. Shi Luwen was arrested on January 17, 2015, and held in the Weifang Detention Center. She was tortured for 24 days, including being shackled to an iron chair while interrogated and being handcuffed from behind and hung up.

14. [Mianyang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhang Weifu Tortured

Mr. Zhang Weifu, 59, was arrested on February 24, 2015 when he talked to people about Falun Gong. He was taken to the Huagai Police Station and his home was ransacked. He was tortured on the Tiger Bench, made to wear handcuffs and foot shackles, and was interrogated. He was taken to a detention center at 11 p.m. Mr. Zhang had a heart attack on February 26, and was sent to the county hospital. He returned home that day.

15. [Beijing] Ms. Zhang Qiusha and Mr. Wei Xuejun Arrested

Ms. Zhang Qiusha and husband Mr. Wei Xuejun were arrested by police from the Daxing District. They are held in the Daxing Detention Center.
