(Minghui.org) Ms. Lu Xuerong (陆学容), a Falun Gong practitioner from Tianjin, was arrested near her home on March 2, 2015. Five cell phones were confiscated from her home.
Ms. Lu, a shop owner in Tanggu market, used the phones for her business. The police, however, insist that she “must have used them to coordinate Falun Gong activities.”
Ms. Lu was detained for a month and a half before the arrest was approved. During that time, Ms. Lu asked without success to be released on medical parole. She is being held in the Tianjin Binhai New District First Detention Center.
Ms. Lu first heard about Falun Gong in 1999. At the time, she had rheumatism and headaches, among other ailments, but no money to see a doctor. All her earnings went to pay the rent and living expenses. She decided she had nothing to lose and tried it.
After she had been practicing Falun Gong for less than a week, all her ailments were cured. For her, it was a miracle. She knew that the practice was truly good.
