Additional Persecution News from China – March 8, 2015 (7 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 4 provinces. According to this report, 2 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 9 practitioners were illegally arrested.

7. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Wang Suping and Other Practitioners Arrested

1. [Tianjin] Ms. Song Huichan Detained

Han Yong and several other officers from the Tanggu Domestic Security Division broke into Ms. Song Huichan's parents' home and ransacked it on the morning of March 2, 2015. They took a computer, a USB flash drive, cellphones, and keys among other items. They arrested Ms. Song Huichan and stopped by her son's home. They took a computer from her son's home while no one was there. Ms. Song is being held in the Binhai New Area No. 1 Detention Center.

2. [Beijing] Mr. Zhang Shouwen and His Wife Ms. Zhong Xiuqing Arrested

Mr. Zhang Shouwen and his wife Ms. Zhong Xiuqing from Beijing were arrested on the evening of March 5, 2015, at the gate of the Nankou Farm, Nankou Town, Changping District in Beijing by officers from the Nankou Police Station, who were staked out there for quite awhile. The officers ransacked their home and took a notebook computer, another computer, a printer, Falun Dafa books, and paper currency bills with messages about Falun Gong and the persecution written on them. Ms. Zhong was released on the evening of March 6, 2015, after failing to pass the physical examination. Mr. Zhang is being held in the Changping Detention Center.

3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Guo Lihua Taken to Prison

Ms. Guo Lihua from Dalian City was arrested by officers from the police station which has jurisdiction over local residents' cases. The officers arrested her to meet the case quota. She was sentenced again to five years in prison. She was transferred from the Dalian Yaojia Detention Center to the Liaoning Women's Prison on March 3, 2015.

4. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Lu Shouci Arrested

Ms. Lu Shouci from Zhuanggangjiao Village, Junan County was arrested recently for distributing Falun Gong informational materials. She is being held in a detention center.

5. [Suzhou City, Anhui Province] Ms. Wu Aiping, Her Husband, and Another Practitioner Arrested

Ms. Wu Aiping and her husband from Suzhou City, Anhui Province were arrested at home on the morning of December 18, 2014.

Ms. Zhu Wenjing was arrested on December 19, 2014. She was released on bail that afternoon.

6. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xiang Ronglan Arrested

Ms. Xiang Ronglan from Yiyuan County, Zibo City was arrested by officers from the Laiwu Police Department and Dazhangzhuang Police Station. The police ransacked her home and took Falun Dafa books and materials containing information about the persecution of Falun Dafa. She was taken to the Zhangdian Detention Center.

7. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Wang Suping and Other Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wang Suping and other practitioners were arrested recently by officers from the Xinghualing Police Department, Taiyuan City. They are being held at the Xinghualing Police Department. Family members were not allowed to visit them.
