(Minghui.org) Before the Chinese New Year, many people in China—who were not Falun Dafa practitioners—sent New Year Greetings to the Minghui website.
They expressed their gratitude to Master Li Hongzhi. They also shared stories of Falun Dafa's positive impact in their lives and called for the end to the persecution.
Here are some of their stories.
'Master Li Saved Our Family'
Thanks to Falun Dafa practitioners’ steadfast effort to tell people the truth behind the persecution of Falun Dafa, a large number of the Chinese people have realized the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). They have taken actions to sever their associations with the party. As a result, many have received blessings.
A Beijing citizen wrote on behalf of her family: “My entire family has renounced the CCP and we have all benefited. Everyone in our family often repeats ‘Falun Dafa is good' Zhen-Shan-Ren (Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance) is good.’ We all enjoy good health. We thank Master Li Hongzhi for his compassion and salvation.”
She added that her husband escaped unharmed from a robbery. Another time the family avoided a serious car accident. They believe it is because of their support for Falun Dafa.
She continued: “My nephew was born prematurely, and he needed a respirator. Doctors did not give him much of a chance to survive. Their family repeated ‘Falun Dafa is good’ and played Master Li’s lectures to him. The boy survived, and he has grown up healthy. He knows his life is a gift from Master Li.”
A man with a family of 13, in Liaoning Province wrote: “My mother is 76. After she began to practice Falun Dafa over a decade ago, she has never been sick, not even once. Her experience provides a clear validation of Falun Dafa's amazing effect. All members of my family have announced our pledge to quit our association with the party. Our family business is booming, and good things keep happening.
“One day in 2012, my eldest brother was driving home from Heilongjiang Province with three passengers in his car. A motorcycle entered the highway, and an accident seemed unavoidable. Suddenly, the car steered out of the road and stopped by a hill. No one was hurt. We all knew that Master Li protected them.”
This man went on to say that he and his wife were unable to have children because of infertility. However, after 16 years of marriage his wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in 2014. She is a precious gift to them and they thank Master Li. The entire family wishes Master Li a very happy New Year.
'Gods Are Three Feet Above Our Heads'
A man from Longchuan County, Guangdong Province, wrote: “Greetings Master Li. From the beginning of the persecution, I knew all the charges against Falun Dafa were false. Practitioners are innocent people with high morals. But I was afraid of the communist party, so I told my son to go along with the party line and criticize Falun Dafa. He took my advice and wrote negative things about Falun Dafa on his school exams. As a result, we were often sick.”
“One day I received some currency (paper money) with the following words written on it: ‘Falun Dafa is good. Return Falun Dafa's honor. Your support for Falun Dafa will bring fortune and peace. Those who slander Dafa invite trouble and tragedy.’
“I was shocked. I realized I had given my son bad advice that brought us trouble. That evening, I told my son, ‘Stop praising the Communist Party. We should praise Falun Dafa instead.’ Immediately after I said those words, my headache vanished. From that day on, my son's health improved, and my business became successful. I am totally convinced that gods are three feet above our heads.
“Thank you, Falun Dafa practitioners for your compassion. We wish Master Li a very happy New Year. We hope the persecution will end soon, and Master Li can return to China. When the evil party is no more, world peace will come.”
'Thankful for Master Li’s Blessings'
An older lady and her 14 children and grandchildren sent a New Year's greeting to Minghui.org. After she began to repeat “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” every day, her health improved.
She wrote: “I am 76 years old. My younger sister, a Falun Dafa practitioner, gave me a Falun Dafa amulet, and taught me to repeat ‘Falun Dafa is good.’ I followed her advice. Now, my health gets better every day, and I can take care of my grandchildren and work in the field. My children and I are on our knees to thank Master Li for the blessings.”
A man told Minghui a story about his grandma: “My grandma is 80. When she was a young girl, she suffered from a minor mental problem, and no man wanted to marry her. She ended up marrying my grandpa, who came from a formerly wealthy family that was a political liability at the time. After her marriage, grandma’s mental problem was gone. But then she developed another problem.
“In her sleep she behaved like a totally different person. She would cry, laugh, curse, and even strike out at her own granddaughter. After waking up, she had no memory of her behavior while asleep. This condition persisted for several decades.
“One day a Falun Dafa practitioner sought refuge in our home to avoid police arrest. Grandma invited him to stay overnight. Grandma's yelling woke the practitioner that night. In the morning, he told grandma to repeat ‘Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ He also told grandma to forgive others and to clear her mind of bad thoughts. Grandma followed his advice every day.
“Now her erratic nighttime behavior is gone, and her other illnesses, such as hypertension, arthritis and digestive troubles, are all cured. Our whole family thanks Master Li and wishes him a happy new year.”
'We Want to Be Chinese with Conscience'
A group of people from Pingshan County, Hebei Province, wrote: “Dear Master Li, we all benefited from Falun Dafa. Although we are not practitioners, your disciples told us the truth and helped us choose a good future. We vow to stick to our conscience and tell others Falun Dafa is good.”
