(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 4 provinces. According to this report, 11 Falun Gong practitioners were mistreated during their detention, and at least 8 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Dengta City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Guo Zhenju and Eight Other Practitioners Sentenced

The Dengta City Court sentenced nine practitioners to prison on February 15, 2015, in the Liaoyang Detention Center

Ms. Guo Zhenju, Mr. Li Xuepin, Ms. Hong Xiuyan, and Ms. Zhang Xueyan were each sentenced to six and a half years.

Mr. Wang Qingzhong, Ms. Zhao Xiuyan, Mr. Liu Xingbao, Ms. Xin Xiuqing, and Ms.Zhu Shuping were each sentenced to five years.

2. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Lanxiang Sentenced to a Year and a Half in Prison

Ms. Wang Lanxiang was sentenced to a year and a half in prison by the Lunan Court in Tangshan on November 19, 2014. The Intermediate Court upheld the original verdict on February 4, 2015.

3. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Mr. Zhang Liang Detained

Mr. Zhang Liang, 61, was arrested by officers from the Daguan Police Station on February 5, 2015, near Daguanlou, Kunming City, for talking to people about Falun Gong. He is being held in the Xishan District Detention Center.

4. [Panshan County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Yan Sentenced to Three Years in Prison

Ms. Li Yan was sentenced to three years in prison by the Panshan County Court.

Ms. Gong Yuxiu, 60, from Nanchang City was arrested by officers from the Xihu Police Department on January 29, 2015. Her whereabouts are unknown.

6. [Suizhong County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ding Qingyan and Two Other Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Ding Qingyan, Ms. Tan Yuxia, and Ms. Gu Sulian from Suizhong County were arrested by officers from the Sunjia Border Police Station in Suizhong County on February 14, 2015. The three had been talking to people about Falun Gong in Wanghu Township. Their whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Chen Shuqin, Ms. Qian Shuxiang, and Ms. Liu Lihua from the Fengrun District, Tangshan City, were arrested on February 13, 2015, by officers from the Dibeitou Town Police Station, Zunhua City. They were taken to the Zunhua Detention Center.
