(Minghui.org) I am a government official and I practice Falun Dafa. I went on a business trip with two colleagues in 2013. Traveling on a highway, a car came speeding from behind and crashed into us. We lost control of the car and it went flying into a fence and over a cliff. I heard a loud sound, we were stuck between the cliff and a large tree.
The police arrived, a crane was used to hoist our car from the cliff. A crowd gathered. Both the front and back of the car were totally crushed. The car looked like scrap metal. One of my colleagues was pulled out of the car, he had already died from the crash. The other colleague was pulled out, he had serious injuries. I was able to walk out of the car. I had no injuries, just a few scratches.
I later found out that at the site of the accident, the cliff was about 165 feet high. Below that was a river. Nothing grew on the side of this cliff for many miles along the road except for this one large tree. The cliff was about 65 feet from the edge of the road. Had it not been for that tree, nothing would have stopped us from falling all the way down to the river.
Upon further inspection of the car, the officers found a circular shaped metal sheet above my seat.
The officers and the bystanders were very surprised that I survived such a serious accident, with just a few scratches. They said I must have done many good deeds to have such good karma.
I told them that I practiced Falun Dafa, that is why I was protected. I believe the metal sheet over my head, in the shape of a Falun emblem, was there to protect me from any harm.
I then took this opportunity to tell them more about Falun Dafa, I said: “Please do not listen to the lies fabricated by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) about Falun Dafa. Reciting 'Falun Dafa is good, and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good' will benefit you. The gods will protect you if you renounce and withdraw from the CCP.”
They were touched by my words and said they would remember, and repeat the words, 'Falun Dafa is good, and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.'
