Additional Persecution News from China – February 12, 2015 (5 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 5 cities or counties in 2 provinces. According to this report, 3 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 3 practitioners were illegally arrested.

4. [Muling City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Gao Yuqin Sentenced
5. [Chongqing] Mr. Peng Shigui Sentenced to Prison

1. [Tianjin] Mr. Liu Zhanshang Arrested

Mr. Liu Zhanshang was arrested at home by officers from the Hefenglu Police Station on the afternoon of February 10, 2015. The police confiscated his computer and printer.

2. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Guiying Detained

Ms. Wang Guiying was arrested by officers from the Xinhua Police Department on January 22, 2015. She is being held at the Baoquanling Detention Center.

3. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Zhaofeng and Ms. Zhao Yuanying Detained

Ms. Li Zhaofeng and Ms. Zhao Yuanying were arrested by Chongshan Police Station officers on the evening of February 9, 2015, for posting messages about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are being held in the Mengyin County Detention Center.

4. [Muling City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Gao Yuqin Sentenced

Ms. Gao Yuqin, arrested on May 12, 2014, was sentenced to a four-year prison term by the Muling City Procuratorate and Court. She is being held in the Mudanjiang No. 2 Detention Center.

Shapingba District Court recently sentenced Mr. Peng Shigui to seven and a half years in prison, but did not hold a public hearing. Mr. Peng was sent to Yongchuan Prison on February 9.
