(Minghui.org) Officers of Miyun County in Beijing City harassed Falun Gong practitioners, and did so in a cowardly manner.
Officers from the Gaoling Police Station went to Mr. Cheng Zhihua's home in mid October, 2015. They arrested him and detained him for 15 days. They were afraid to mention Falun Gong in the process. It was discovered that the reason police put on Mr. Cheng's arrest warrant (reason for the arrest) was “attending Huidaomen” (a different organization).
They also summoned his wife (also a practitioner) to the police station, interrogated her, and released her later. They also lied on the interrogation record, saying that she “took drugs.”
Officers from the Taishitun Police Station knocked on the door of Mr./Ms. Xia Fuli's home around 8:00 p.m. Xia kept asking who was there, but they would not answer and eventually left. Neighbors later told Xia that it was the police at the door.
Officers from the Beizhuang Police Station brought milk and rice as gifts to two practitioners' homes to bribe them, encouraging them to quit practicing Falun Gong. The police were refused. However, the police lied to family members of other practitioners, telling them that the two practitioners had worked with the Chinese Communist Party and gave up their belief. Their lies were quickly caught and exposed.
