Additional Persecution News from China – November 15, 2015 (Part I, 17 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 6 provinces. According to this report, 14 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 19 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhao Lan Arrested

Officers from the Qilu Police Station in the Tiexi District arrested Ms. Zhao Lan, 59, on the morning of November 9, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. The police ransacked her home.

2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Jing Fengwei Detained

Mr. Jing Fengwei was arrested by officers from the Jinchengjie Police Station in the Luyuan District when he was telling people about Falun Gong on October 30, 2015. He was detained for 15 days. On November 13, the last day of his detention, officers handcuffed Mr. Jing’s arms behind his back and took him to the Changchun City No. 4 Detention Center for continued custody.

3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ma Xizhen Arrested

Officers from the Shichang Police Station in Lushunkou District arrested Ms. Ma Xizhen on the morning of November 13, 2015. They confiscated Falun Dafa books and printed materials.

4. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Officers from the Songyuan City Police Department arrested Ms. Xing at home on November 2, 2015. Officers from the No. 2 Police Department went to Ms. Qin Shujie's home to harass her that day. Ms. Li Wei, who happened to be at Ms. Qin's home, was also arrested.

5. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Mr. Bao Zhiwen Detained

Mr. Bao Zhiwen from Houzhangping Village in Guan County Industrial Park was arrested by officers from the Industrial Park Police Station on the morning of October 27, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. He was taken to the Liaocheng Detention Center for ten days of detention. He has now returned home.

6. [Tianjin] Five Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Wang Yuhe from the Xiqing District was arrested by officers from the Zhendong Police Station in Yangliuqing Town on August 6, 2015. His home was ransacked. The officers extorted 5,000 yuan before releasing him.

Mr. Shuai Junran was arrested by officers from the Yangliuqing Police Station in mid-August 2015. He was released after being forced to sign and fingerprint the paperwork.

Ms. Li Mingjun was arrested by officers from the Zhenxi Police Station in Yangliuqing Town on August 20, 2015. Her home was ransacked. She was detained for over a month, and released on bail after being extorted of 10,000 yuan.

Ms. Han Zhijin was arrested by officers from the Zhendong Police Station in Yangliuqing Town on August 21, 2015, and ransacked her home. She was detained for over a month, and released on bail after being extorted of 1,000 yuan.

Ms. Ma Yifeng was arrested by officers from the Zhenxi Police Station in Yangliuqing Town around August 20, 2015. The officer ransacked her home and confiscated a computer and Falun Dafa books. She was released that evening.

7. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Huarong Arrested

Ms. Liu Huarong was recently arrested. She is being detained at the Luyuan Police Station.

8. [Gaizhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Bai Caiwen Arrested

Ms. Bai Caiwen from Songtun Village in Xutun Township was arrested on the morning of November 12, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin.

9. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Cheng Guanghui Detained

Officers from the Goumenzi Town Police Station broke into Mr. Cheng Guanghui's home and ransacked it on the morning of November 11, 2015. The officers took Mr. Cheng to the Lingyuan City Detention Center, claiming they needed to verify his lawsuit against Jiang Zemin.

10. [Fusong County, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhao Lihua and Ms. Wang Qingjie Arrested

Ms. Zhao Lihua, Ms. Wang Qingjie, and other practitioners were arrested by officers from the Fusong County Police Department and the local police station on the morning of October 30, 2015.

Ms. Zhao and Ms. Wang, both in their forties, were taken to Baishan City and detained. All the other practitioners were released.

11. [Fengxiang County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Wang Cai'e Detained

Officers from the Miganqiao Town Police Station broke into Ms. Wang Cai'e's home, arrested her, and ransacked the place on November 11, 2015. She was detained for seven days. She was returned home after failing the physical exam.

12. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Guan Shulan Arrested

Officers from the Taihe District Police Department and the Xiaolingzi Police Station climbed over a wall and broke into Ms. Guan Shulan's home on the morning of November 12, 2015. The officers arrested Ms. Guan and confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong.

13. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Qi Xiaofang Detained

Ms. Qi Xiaofang from the Shuangtaizi District was arrested by officers from the Lujia Town Police Station on the afternoon of November 11, 2015. She is being detained in the Panjin City Detention Center.

14. [Wuzhong City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Mr. Zhang Xueyan Arrested

Mr. Zhang Xueyan, a teacher with the No. 1 Wuzhong City Middle School, was arrested by officers from the Chaoyang Police Station on November 10, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin.

15. [Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Yan Detained

Mr. Wang Yan from the Yicheng District was arrested by officers from the Yicheng District Domestic Security Division and the Eshan Police Station on November 5, 2015. He is being detained in the Zaozhuang City Detention Center.

16. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Officers from the Linghai City Domestic Security Division and the local police station broke into Mr. Wang Baotong's home and arrested him on November 12, 2015. He was taken to the Linghai City Detention Center. Mr. Zhang Guoqing and Mr. Chen Li were also arrested that day.

17. [Sheyang County, Jiangsu Province] Eight Practitioners Remain in Custody

Thirteen practitioners were arrested in April 2014. Eight of them are still in custody. Mr. Tang Xueyong, Mr. Dong Zhiyong, and Mr. Ji Guowei are being held in the Sheyang County Detention Center. Ms. Gong Jinxiu, Ms. Wu Hongyu, Ms. Zhang Yunling, Ms. Wu Yaping, and Ms. Mao Xunlin are being held in the Yancheng City Detention Center. No family visits have been allowed for over a year.
