Additional Persecution News from China – November 13, 2015 (Part II, 27 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 24 cities or counties in 14 provinces. According to this report, 28 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 31 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xu Xiangfen Detained

Ms. Xu Xiangfen was arrested by officers from the Dongying Domestic Security Division, the Shengdong Police Station, and security personnel at her workplace on November 9, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Dafa books. She is detained at the Binhai Detention Center.

2. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Guan Yinfeng Arrested

Ms. Guan Yinfeng was arrested at home on November 10, 2015.

3. [Dongyang City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Cheng Juan Arrested

Ms. Cheng Juan has been harassed many times for suing Jiang Zemin. A group of people showed up at her home and ransacked it on November 11, 2015. They confiscated Falun Dafa books. At noon that day, police officers went to the hospital and insisted that Ms. Cheng, who was hospitalized be discharged early, then they arrested her.

4. [Lijin County, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Yanyun Arrested

Ms. Wang Yanyun of Hongwei Village in Lijin Town was arrested at home by officers from the Dongying City Police Department on the evening of November 9, 2015. The officers ransacked her home. She is being held in the Dongying City Police Department.

5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Suzhen Taken to Women's Education Center

Ms. Li Suzhen was arrested by police officers on the morning of November 11, 2015. The officers ransacked her home on that afternoon. They confiscated about 3,000 yuan worth of paper bills with facts about Falun Gong printed on them and a notebook computer. Ms. Li was transferred to the Erzhigou Women's Education Center.

6. [Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province] Ms. Lan Mingfen Arrested

Ms. Lan Mingfen was arrested at the Jiajiang Train Station on November 6, 2015.

7. [Gaozhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Wu Wuying's Home Ransacked

Eight people, led by the Meipo Village secretary in the Shangpo, Jinshan Neighborhood Community, ransacked the home of Ms. Wu Wuying's mother-in-law on the morning of November 4, 2015. They did not find anything.

8. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Several Practitioners Harassed for Suing Jiang Zemin

Several officers from the Liaohe Oilfield Police Department ransacked Ms. Zhang Yunxiu's home on the morning of November 9, 2015. They confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong, two printers, a DVD burner, a USB disk, and four calendars. The officers took her to the Yingbin Police Station for interrogation with transcripts.

Ms. Jin Guizhen was arrested at her clinic by six or seven officers from the local police station on November 9, 2015. Subsequently the officers took her with them to ransack her home. They confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong and a few copies of Falun Gong books. Then the officers took her to the Yingbin Police Station to take written notes while interrogating her.

9. [Benxi County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Jiang Jiufu Detained

Yang Tianshuai, director of the Qinghecheng Town Police Station, and other officers broke into Mr. Jiang Jiufu's home and ransacked it on the morning of November 10, 2015. They confiscated Falun Dafa books, printed materials, DVDs, and a cellphone. They also took over 300 yuan in cash from a bag belonging to Mr. Jiang's wife. The couple was taken to the Qinghecheng Town Police Station for interrogation. The wife was released, but Mr. Jiang was detained in the Xiaoshi Detention Center for 15 days.

10. [Anhua County, Hunan Province] Ms. Chen Xinchu Arrested

Ms. Chen Xinchu of Dafu Town was arrested in Meicheng Town around July 2015. Her whereabouts are unknown.

11. [Xiantao City, Hubei Province] Mr. Chen Yongbo Arrested

Mr. Chen Yongbo was arrested on November 11, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin.

12. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Shumei Arrested

Ms. Zhang Shumei was arrested at home on November 2, 2015.

13. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Han Ruoxiang, Ms. Xu Guiqin, and Ms. Wei Shuhua of the Ajingou area in the Dongzhou District were arrested by officers from the Fushun County Domestic Security Division and the local police station on November 10, 2015 for telling people about Falun Gong. The officers ransacked their homes that afternoon.

The three practitioners were taken to the Nangou Detention Center. Ms. Han and Ms. Wei were denied admission for health reasons. They were placed under surveillance that night. Ms. Xu is detained in the Nangou Detention Center.

14. [Jingmen City, Hubei Province] Two Practitioners Detained

Four practitioners were arrested on the morning of November 10, 2015. Two practitioners were released the following day. Ms. Guo Chengling and another practitioner were taken to the Jingmen Detention Center. The detention center called their families to bring them clothes, but said no family visits were allowed.

15. [Chongqing] Mr. Chen Jiachuan Arrested

Mr. Chen Jiachuan of the Hechuan District was recorded by a video surveillance camera when he was distributing Falun Gong informational materials on the morning of November 10, 2015. He was arrested and taken to a detention center. The police ransacked his home and confiscated Falun Gong books.

16. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Huang Chengqiong Detained

Ms. Huang Chengqiong, in her 40s, was arrested by Han Yugao, an officer from the Hongshan District Police Department, and Sun Yi, officers from the Guanshan Police Station, for filing a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin in July 2015. She is detained in the Erzhigou Detention Center in the Dongxihu District.

17. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Wang Quanlu Faces Trial

Mr. Wang Quanlu, from the No. 5 Group, Goujialing Village, Gaojia Town, Weibin District, was arrested by officers from the Weibin District Domestic Security Division in July 2015. He has been held in the Weibin District Detention Center. His family received a notice from the Weibin Court that a trial would be held soon.

18. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Several Practitioners Harassed

Officers from the Yuhe Police Station harassed several practitioners at home since October 2015.

Ms. Sun Yunxia and Ms. Chen Yuelan of Xinghang Village were arrested and taken to the police station for interrogation about their lawsuits against Jiang Zemin and taking written notes. They were released after signing paperwork that day.

The officers ransacked Ms. Kao Jingyun's home in Yangjiazhuang Village and took a computer and Falun Dafa books when they arrested her the first time. Ms. Kao was again arrested on November 3, 2015. She was placed under criminal detention at the Weifang City Detention Center that day.

Ms. Liu Haobin of Nanlun Village was arrested by plainclothes officers from the Weicheng District 610 Office on the morning of November 5, 2015. The officers took her to the police station where she was interrogated about her lawsuit against Jiang Zemin. She was taken to the Weifang City Detention Center that afternoon. She was released that day after failing the physical exam.

Mr. Zhang Guanlun, his wife, and Ms. Li Shufeng were also harassed.

19. [Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Ms. Hu Shuqin Detained

Ms. Hu Shuqin was arrested. She is detained in the Liudaowan Detention Center.

20. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Xuejun Harassed; Mr. Guo Shuyan Arrested

Zhang, an officer from the No. 10 Daqing Oil Production Plant Police Department, called Mr. Wang Xuejun on the phone the morning of November 6, 2015, to ask if he filed a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin and whether he still practices Falun Gong.

Mr. Guo Shuyan, a employee at the No. 10 Daqing Oil Production Plant, was arrested at work by Li Yanquan from the police department on the afternoon of November 11, 2015. His home was ransacked.

21. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Jia Yuchun and Two Non-Practitioners Arrested

Officers from the Yingchengzi Town Police Station in the Ganjingzi District arrested Ms. Jia Yuchun and two non-practitioners Mr. An Zheping and Mr. Lu Shanzong on November 6, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin.

22. [Jianping County, Liaoning Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested

Police officers arrested Mr. Sha, in his 70s, on the morning of October 9, 2015. Then the officers went to Mr. Sha's home and arrested his wife Ms. Tian Fengying, Mr. Wang Shuyou, Ms. Yan Haiyan, Ms. Han Zhuying, Mr. Guo Hao, and Mr. Liu Qiyun.

Mr. Liu Qiyun was released on bail by his family due to his high blood pressure, which was over 200.

23. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Yequan Arrested

Mr. Li Yequan was arrested at work by officers from the Babaishang Police Department on November 12, 2015.

24. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Officers from the Dehui City Police Department and the Dajiagou Police Station arrested four practitioners on November 3, 2015.

Mr. Wang Chunbao, 67, and Ms. Wang Guoling, 59, were each detained for seven days. Both practitioners were released on the morning of November 10, 2015. A mother and her son were detained for 15 days in the Dehui City Detention Center.

25. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Several Practitioners Harassed or Arrested

Officers from the Yuanbaoshan District Domestic Security Division have arrested several practitioners since November 2, 2015.

Ms. Meng Qingling, Ms. Chen Xiumin, and 12 other practitioners were detained. Ms. Yu Fengchun and three other practitioners were released, and they have returned home.

The officers harassed Ms. Wang Xiutang, in her 70s, and her daughter, from Pingzhuang Town, around November 4, 2015. Both were forced to sign paperwork. In addition, Ms. Wang Yuzhen, in her 80s, and several other practitioners were harassed.

26. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Yongsheng Detained

Mr. Li Yongsheng has been held in the Muling City Detention Center for nearly eight months.

27. [Beijing] Mr. Wang Cheng Detained

Officers from the Mentougou District 610 Office, the Mentougou District Domestic Security Division, and the Dayu Police Station ransacked Mr. Wang Cheng's home on the morning of October 20, 2015. Mr. Wang was taken to the Fangshan Detention Center for 10 days of detention. On the morning of October 29, he was taken directly to the Beizhuanghu Village Brainwashing Center in Machikou Town in the Changping District.
