Additional Persecution News from China – December 1, 2015 (Part I, 24 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 18 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 3 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 27 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Li Li Taken to Brainwashing Center after Being Detained

Ms. Li Li was detained. Her scheduled release date was November 22, 2015. But she was taken to the Gulou District Brainwashing Center for continued custody.

2. [Beijing] Mr. Wang Rusheng Detained

Mr. Wang Rusheng, from Doudian town in the Fangshan District, was arrested by the local police on the morning of November 18, 2015. He has been placed in detention.

3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Li Arrested

Ms. Wang Li from the Dadong District was arrested when she was on bail, by officers from the Heping District Domestic Security Division, the Taiyuan Street Police Station, and the Dadong District Criminal Division on November 24, 2015. The officers confiscated Falun Dafa books, Falun Gong informational DVDs, and paper bills with Falun Gong facts printed on them. She was released home the following day for health reasons.

4. [Beijing] Ms. Meng Xiuzhen Detained

Ms. Meng Xiuzhen, a former worker at the Beijing Spinning Factory, was arrested by officers from the Baizhifang Police Station on November 15, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. She is detained in the Xicheng District Detention Center.

5. [Manzhouli City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Liu Hanxiang Sentenced

Ms. Liu Hanxiang was arrested on November 11, 2014. The police confiscated Falun Gong books, a printer, DVDs, and paper bills with facts about Falun Gong printed on them. Ms. Liu was sentenced to four years in prison in July 2015.

6. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yang Yanhua Detained

Ms. Yang Yanhua was arrested by the police on November 12, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. She was detained in the Panjin City Detention Center.

7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Ao Hong Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Ao Hong was arrested when she was talking to people about Falun Gong on November 25, 2015. It was just learned that she was taken to the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center.

8. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. You Ying Detained; Family Extorted 100,000 Yuan

Ms. You Ying from the Yuhong District was arrested by officers from the Yanfen Police Station on November 9, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, a printer, and a printer. Ms. You is detained in the Zaohua Detention Center. Her family has been extorted 100,000 yuan.

9. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Jiang Hong Tortured in Prison

Ms. Jiang Hong from Tangyuan County was arrested on July 1, 2010. She was subsequently sentenced to eight years in prison by the Tangyuan County Court.

She was taken to the No. 9 Ward of the Heilongjiang Women's Prison in 2011, where she was tortured. The guards deprived her of sleep, forced her to sit on a small stool, and did not allow her to use the toilet, which resulted in her suffering urinary incontinence. She was also beaten, and blood dripped from her head. In 2012, Ms. Jiang was taken to another cell across the hallway, where conditions were even worse.

10. [Jiaozuo City, Henan Province] Ms. Wu Shaochun and Ms. Huang Shumin Detained

Officers from the Macun District Police Department and the Daiwang Police Station broke into Ms. Wu Shaochun's home on the morning of November 24, 2015. They questioned her about her lawsuit against Jiang Zemin. Ms. Wu was taken to the Jiaozuo City Detention Center.

Ms. Huang Shumin was also arrested and taken to the detention center for suing Jiang Zemin.

11. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Guiying Arrested

Ms. Liu Guiying, from the Chadianzi Neighborhood in the Jinniu District, was arrested on November 26, 2015. Her whereabouts are unknown.

12. [Suzhou City, Anhui Province] Ms. Liu Liangqin Arrested

Ms. Liu Liangqin from Si County was arrested by officers from the Si County Domestic Security Division on November 27, 2015. Her whereabouts are unknown.

13. [Chongqing] Ms. Yang Changqin Arrested

Ms. Yang Changqin of Lijiatuo Neighborhood in the Banan District was arrested at work by officers from the Jiulongpo District Police Department and the Lijiatuo Police Station on November 28, 2015. The officers ransacked her home.

14. [Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Ning Arrested

Ms. Yang Ning was arrested at home by about twelve police officers on the afternoon of November 23, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. The officers ransacked her home in the Shizhong District.

15. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Mr Liu Wei Detained

Mr. Liu Wei was arrested by Liu Huanyu and other officers from the Suizhong County Domestic Security Division on November 30, 2015. His home was ransacked. He is detained in the Suizhong County Detention Center.

16. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zou Yingchun Detained

Ms. Zou Yingchun from Penglai City was arrested by officers from the Dengzhou Police Station in Penglai City on the afternoon of November 23, 2015. She was detained in the Penglai Detention Center.

17. [Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Zhang Buhua and Mr. Sha Qing Arrested

Mr. Zhang Buhua, from Qiuji Town in Suining County, was arrested on November 16, 2015. Mr. Sha Qing, an employee at the Wanglin Hospital in Qiuji Town, was arrested on November 19, 2015.

18. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Kong Gang Detained

Mr. Kong Gang was arrested by officers from the Jiefang Police Station in the Sujiatun District on November 23, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated a computer, a printer, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Dafa books, and printed materials. Mr. Kong is detained in the Sujiatun Detention Center.

19. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Shuqing Detained

Mr. Li Shuqing from Chicheng County was arrested and taken to the county police department on November 30, 2015. The police questioned him about his lawsuit against Jiang Zemin. He was later taken to the Zhangjiakou Detention Center.

20. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Guiying Arrested

Ms. Liu Guiying was arrested by the police on November 27, 2015.

21. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Aihua Detained

Ms. Liu Aihua was arrested by officers from the Mudanjiang Police Department in November 2015. She was detained in the Mudanjiang Detention Center for 15 days.

22. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Lu Shibo and Mr. Wang Lianbo Arrested

Mr. Lu Shibo and Mr. Wang Lianbo were arrested by officers from the Xingfu Police Station in the Fularji District on November 25, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. Their homes were ransacked. The officers forcibly took fingerprints from Mr. Lu. Both practitioners have returned home.

23. [Beijing] Five Practitioners Detained

Mr. Zhang Xiangyu, Mr. Yu Yanjie, Mr. Dong Baogang, Mr. Su Jincheng, and Ms. Su Tingzhi, from Lixian Town in the Daxing District, were arrested by Zhao Qi and other officers from the Lixian Town Police Station on November 11, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. The five practitioners were detained in the Beijing City Detention Center for five days.

24. [Beijing] Ms. Di Arrested

Ms. Di was arrested by officers from the Sujiatuo Police Station in the Haidian District on November 11, 2015.
