(Minghui.org) I was not daunted in writing a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese communist regime, although I didn’t even know how to punctuate correctly. All of my abilities come from Master’s mercy, the power of Falun Gong, and help from fellow practitioners.

As such, I have arrived at a rational understanding on the three things, eliminated the attachment of fear, and found my true self.

Preparing the Criminal Complaint

It took me over 20 days to finish the complaint, working on it through the night. I received support from fellow practitioner’s righteous thoughts, and experienced interference from family members.

While breaking through my human mentality, layer by layer, I experienced breathing difficulties. I told fellow practitioners more than once that I was extremely tired. Master arranged for three practitioners to help me. Some helped me with law-related issues, while the others corrected my spelling and punctuation, and put it in the correct format.

It was late in the evening when I finally printed the complaint and gave it to my husband. He let got of his attachment of fear after reading the complaint. He pressed his fingerprint next to his name while he sent righteous thoughts. My daughter, who was against my writing the complaint, said, “ Wow! Very professional!” She also put on her fingerprint.

My daughter wrote a complaint and told me that while she was writing it, she eliminated the attachment of fear that had developed when I was persecuted eight years ago.

Ordinary People Are Suing Jiang

I mailed the complaint at about 9:00 a.m. on July 18, 2015, and gave copies to my neighbors. Some reported me to the police and some were happy for me after they read it. One elderly lady asked me to read it to her, as she is illiterate. When I talked about the cruel persecution of practitioners, she said, “Finally the persecution will end.”

I received the acknowledgment letter from the Supreme People's Procuratorate on July 20th. I waited at home for the investigators to come, and planned to show them the complaint. But no one showed up for three days. Therefore, I took my complaint to the village captain who had persecuted me.

He was quite angry when he opened door, and told me to stand while he sat down. I told him that I had filed a complaint against Jiang. I told him that he was mentioned in the complaint, but that I had not sued him yet. He said that he was doing his job at that time.

“You followed Jiang regime's order and persecuted kind people,” I told him. “Now, you are adding insult to injury. So just take a look at my complaint and leave yourself a way out.”

I told the director of women’s issues that we were suing Jiang Zemin. “Not just Falun Gong practitioners are suing Jiang Zemin. Many people are suing him,” she said. She thanked me and said that Jiang was a “big tiger” being hunted down.

“We all know you are a nice person,” she said. “A few days ago, some upper level officials asked about you and your daughter. We sent them off and told them nothing.”

Before I left, she told me to talk to the deputy director of the Residents' Committee, who was just elected to the committee, and who did not know the facts about Falun Gong. My husband and I indeed went to see him.

Later, a few fellow practitioners were harassed. I asked Master to arrange kind people to take a look at my complaint, and for them not to commit crimes against Falun Gong.

Move Stones to Tears

Four people came to my home at around 10:00 a.m. on October 30, because of my family's complaint against Jiang. One said that there was no reason for this kind of thing, so I gave them a copy of my complaint. “Read it carefully,” I said. “This persecution of kind people would move a stone to tears.” They took out their cell phone to take a picture and asked if they could have a copy.

“Of course. And ask others to read it as well,” I said. “I hope your names will not be in my complaint. Jiang is 89 years old. You are still young, and bread earners for your families. You don’t want to be imprisoned alongside Jiang.”

I told them that many high ranking officials had been prosecuted because they persecuted Falun Gong, and it was retribution. One asked if my husband and daughter agreed to sue Jiang. I refused to answer. “You should not ask this. Just go home and read my complaint. Let’s talk after you understand the truth about Falun Gong, and you will know why I sued only Jiang and not you.”

I pointed at a person who ordered other people to tear down the Falun Gong phrases from my door. I said, “I didn’t include you in my complaint because my Master taught us not to.”

Master said:

“...a lot of people, whether they be officials, police officers, or whatnot, have been poisoned by the lies. Those specific beings are not inherently wicked, actually; the beings themselves are not wicked officials. [Some of] those beings may actually be very good ones, but have been misled after being instilled with the lies of the wicked Party culture, and were thereby driven to do what they did. Of course, there are also some people who knew full well what the situation was and whose acts were motivated by self-interest. You should still give them the chance to learn about the truth.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2015 New York Fa Conference”)

After you read my complaint, and your boss still wants you to persecute me, you can show this complaint to him. Civil servants are now tenured. You have the right to not follow your supervisor’s order. If you do something wrong, no one is going to pay for this except yourself.”

I continued, “More than 200 million people have now quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and more than 190,000 people have sued Jiang. After you read my complaint, if you still think it is right to persecute kind people because you believe in the CCP, then leave your names when you come next time, I will sue you as well.”

One of them asked me to sign a guarantee statement. I asked if they truly wanted me to sign a statement that says that I will no longer practice Falun Gong, after I said so much. I asked them to leave their names. He put the statement in his bag and left.

Resident Committee Protects Practitioners

The next day, an officer from the Residents Committee told me that those people made four copies of my complaint and left. She told me that the Residents Committee protects kind people when the upper level authorities send people to investigate practitioners.

“You will be rewarded,” I said. “We were co-workers, so you know clearly how I have changed since I started cultivating Falun Gong.” She responded that I was indeed reborn.

A local police officer went to my husband’s workplace and demanded that he sign documents. My husband refused, and the person shouted, “The CCP gives you food and vehicles! Why is your family opposed to them?” My husband responded loudly, “Who would give me a car if I didn’t pay for it? Did the CCP give you your house?”

I now tell everyone about my complaint against Jiang. I also help fellow practitioners write their complaints and help them eliminate their attachments to fear, so they can sue Jiang.

This effort has helped me further understand the meaning of life. Some people asked me what benefits I would get from this. Some family members asked why I sued Jiang now, and not when he was the head of the Chinese communist regime. These are merely opportunities for me to remove my attachments no matter if they are positive or negative.

Background

In 1999, Jiang Zemin, as head of the Chinese Communist Party, overrode other Politburo standing committee members and launched the violent suppression of Falun Gong.

The persecution has led to the deaths of many Falun Gong practitioners in the past 16 years. More have been tortured for their belief and even killed for their organs. Jiang Zemin is directly responsible for the inception and continuation of the brutal persecution.

Under his personal direction, the Chinese Communist Party established an extralegal security organ, the “610 Office,” on June 10, 1999. The organization overrides police forces and the judicial system in carrying out Jiang's directive regarding Falun Gong: to ruin their reputations, cut off their financial resources, and destroy them physically.

Chinese law allows for citizens to be plaintiffs in criminal cases, and many practitioners are now exercising that right to file criminal complaints against the former dictator.
