(Minghui.org) I was on my way to the shopping center on my motorbike on September 6 and a car darted out from a side road and plowed into me. The driver was a college student. He was so scared that he jumped out of the car and shouted, “Sir, are you OK?”

I slowly got up from the ground and said, “I am fine.” I explained to the young man that I practice Falun Gong, and that I believe there is no difficulty I cannot overcome. One of my shoes was gone and my shirt and pants were torn up. The front wheel of the bike was crushed and its handlebar and front fork were mangled. The driver asked me to go to the hospital for a check-up. However, I assured him, “Falun Gong practitioners are honest. I won't extort money from you. I am fine and there is no need to go to the hospital.” [Editor's note: In China today, it is common for accident victims to sue the person at fault for large amounts of money even if little or no injuries occurred, so people involved will usually insist on going with victims to the hospital to make sure the charges are valid.]

Seeing that I sincerely did not want his money, he drove me and the bike to a repair shop. He also called over three of his friends to help him. I took the opportunity to tell the four of them about how the communist regime unjustly and brutally persecutes Falun Gong. They were sympathetic and all of them decided to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliates. The bike repairman also withdrew from the CCP and its affiliates.

At home, I did not mention the accident to my family, as I knew they would worry needlessly. When my wife saw the scratches on my shoulder and my stomach the next day, I told her about it. “I'm over 70 years old, but I was unharmed after being hit by a car. I even went to the shopping center and finished my errands after the accident. Doesn't this show the supernormal power of Falun Gong?”

My family was amazed and grateful to Falun Gong. They told my story to many others as well.
