Additional Persecution News from China – November 19, 2015 (Part, I, 37 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 31 cities or counties in 12 provinces. According to this report, 67 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 33 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Beijing] Mr. Zhang Hongru Placed on Trial

The Changping District Court held a hearing against Mr. Zhang Hongru, in his 40s, on November 16, 2015. Mr. Zhang had been imprisoned for more than ten years. He was again arrested on July 20, 2015.

Mr. Zou Deyong was tried in September 2015 by the Changping District Court.

2. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Ma Wensheng Detained

Officers from the Jinzhu Town Police Station in the Longtan District arrested Mr. Ma Wensheng on the afternoon of November 12, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. Mr. Ma was detained for five days.

3. [Chongqing] Mr. Chen Jiachuan Detained

Mr. Chen Jiachuan from the Hechuan District was searched and arrested by three plainclothes officers when he was distributing Falun Gong informational materials on the morning of November 10, 2015. The officers confiscated several DVDs, amulets, and his keys. Four police officers ransacked his home and confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong and five copies of Zhuan Falun. He was taken to a detention center for 15 days. Family visits were denied.

4. [Laixi City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Harassed

Zhou Yubo and others from the Guhe Neighborhood Administration Office showed up at Mr. Luan Hecheng's home in Luanjiazhai Village on the morning of November 13, 2015. They confiscated a photo of the founder of Falun Gong. Mr. Luan, 80, tried to stop them. They twisted his arm, bruising it and causing a lump.

The officers went to Mr. Xue Guixian's home in Lujiazhuang Village and rummaged through the entire house. They confiscated all Falun Dafa books and printed materials. Even eyeglasses, pens, and notebooks were taken away.

That day at noon, the officers went to Mr. Zhao Xinfeng's home in Wanglianzhuang Village and ransacked it.

5. [Jurong City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Lu Xiucai and Wife Ms. Wang Nianhong Detained

Mr. Lu Xiucai and his wife Ms. Wang Nianhong were arrested by officers from the local Domestic Security Division and police station on November 16, 2015. The couple is detained separately in the Jurong City Detention and the Zhenjiang City Detention Center.

6. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Dexi Taken to Drug Rehabilitation Center

Mr. Liu Dexi was arrested and taken to a drug rehabilitation center on November 15, 2015.

7. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Mr. Xu Jiming Arrested

Mr. Xu Jiming of Hanzhong Township was arrested by officers from the Wancheng District Security and Safeguard Division on November 11, 2015. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated printed materials and 200 yuan worth of paper bills with facts about Falun Gong printed on them.

8. [Tanghe County, Henan Province] Six Practitioners Extorted by Police

Li Debao, head of the Tanghe County Domestic Security Division, and other officers arrested and detained practitioners who filed lawsuits against Jiang Zemin. They extorted money from other practitioners, ranging from several thousand yuan to over ten thousand yuan. Whoever did not pay them was arrested.

Mr. Dang Xinwei, Ms. Zhang Suyun, Mr. Chen Huqin, Mr. Hou Duxin, Mr. Qiao, and Ms. Li Meiyu were among those who were extorted by the police.

9. [Ezhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Ke Hongying Harassed

Ms. Ke Hongying, 49, from Hujin Village in Taihe Town, was harassed again for suing Jiang Zemin on the morning of November 17, 2015. Those who ransacked her home confiscated all her Falun Dafa books. They tried to arrest her but she escaped.

10. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Several Practitioners Detained

Several practitioners were recently detained in the Daqing City No. 1 Detention Center for suing Jiang Zemin.

Mr. Meng Fanzeng was detained for 15 days, from November 1 to November 16, 2015.Mr. Song Laisheng was detained for 10 days, from October 27 to November 6, 2015.Mr. Wang Wenchen and his wife were detained for 15 days, from October 29 to November 12, 2015Mr. Gao Sheng and his wife were detained for 15 days, from November 6 to November 21, 2015.Three other practitioners were also detained, but their names and whereabouts are unknown.

11. [Guazhou County, Gansu Province] Mr. Peng Gaoyun Detained

Mr. Peng Gaoyun was called into the police department for questioning about his lawsuit against Jiang Zemin by officers from the Guazhou County Police Department in mid-October 2015. His home was ransacked twice. The officers confiscated Falun Dafa books, an MP3, and other items. Mr. Peng was taken to the Guazhou County Detention Center for 10 days of detention. He was released after being extorted 500 yuan.

12. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chen Yuzhi Detained

Ms. Chen Yuzhi was arrested in the super market she owns by Cao Qingrui from the Jintie Police Station on the afternoon of November 15, 2015. Her family went to the police station demanding her release. They were told that Ms. Chen has been taken to a detention center.

13. [Guoyang County, Anhui Province] Ms. Liu Yu Arrested

Officers from the Nanguan Police Station arrested Ms. Liu Yu on the afternoon of November 16, 2015. They confiscated a computer from her home.

14. [Pingyuan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Lin Chunxiang Detained

Li Feng, head of the Pingyuan County 610 Office, and other officers broke into Ms. Lin Chunxiang's home at Linqiao Village in Yaozhan Town and ransacked it on November 11, 2015. Ms. Lin was taken to the Dezhou City Detention Center.

15. [Pingliang City, Gansu Province] Mr. Zhang Zhengguo and Another Female Practitioner Detained

Ma Yi and other officers from the Kongtong District 610 Office arrested Mr. Zhang Zhengguo and another female practitioner on November 11, 2015.

16. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Fu Jinfeng Taken to Prison

Ms. Fu Jinfeng was taken to the Jiangxi Province Women's Prison.

17. [Xiamen City, Fujian Province] Five Practitioners Detained

Officers from the Siming Domestic Security Division arrested Ms. Li Lifang, Ms. Zheng Changzhong, Ms. Huang Yaping, Ms. Huang Yajie, and Ms. Jiang Xuemei on the afternoon of November 13, 2015. The five practitioners were taken to the Xiamen No. 1 Detention Center. Ms. Li was tortured. She was unable to walk, and lost eyesight in one of her eyes after just three days in the detention center.

18. [Xiuwu County, Henan Province] Elderly Ms. Yang Shijun Arrested

Xiuwu County police officers broke into Ms. Yang Shijun's home in Dadong Village in Xicun Township and ransacked it on November 13, 2015. They confiscated Falun Dafa books and printed materials. Ms. Yang, in her 70s, was arrested. Her whereabouts are unknown.

19. [Kangping County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chen Yuchun Remains Detained

Between October 30 to November 6, 2015, officers from the Kangping County Police Department and the 610 Office arrested 17 practitioners. They are Ms. Gao Jie, Mr. Yang Zhenyu, Ms. Wang Hongying, Ms. Yang Zhehui, Mr. Guo Yi, Ms. Zhang Guixia, Mr. An Youjiang, Mr. Wang Yaowen, Ms. Jiang Xiufang, Mr. Fu Lixin, Ms. Chen Yuchun, Ms. Zhang Lifeng, Mr. Bai Jingjie, Mr. Meng Deyun, Ms. Zhao Shuzhen, Mr. Zhao Shuang, and Mr. Feng Xili.

Ms. Wang Hongying, Ms. Yang Zhehui, and Mr. Bai Jingjie were released after failing a physical exam. Mr. Wang Yaowen was released after being on a hunger strike for three days. Twelve other practitioners were released after being detained. Ms. Chen Yuchun is the only one who remains in detention at the Kangping Detention Center.

Several other practitioners were harassed.

20. [Huaibei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Shi Mengxia Detained

Ms. Shi Mengxia was taken to a brainwashing center directly after 10 days of detention.

21. [Beijing] About 25 Practitioners Arrested for Suing Jiang Zemin

As of November 13, 2015, about 25 practitioners from the Daxing District were arrested for suing Jiang Zemin.

Ms. An Xuefeng, Ms. He Yue, Ms. An Xueying, Ms. Liu Chunying, Ms. Liu Yanfen, Ms. Guo Xiuhong, Ms. Yang Shugui, Ms. Yang Yuling, and Ms. Chang Guizhi were detained in the Beijing Detention Center.

Ms. Li Shuyan, Ms. Li Guihong, Ms. Wang Xiuling, Mr. Cui Jingwen, Ms. You Xinxia, Mr. Gao Chongjiu, Ms. Li Shulan, and Ms. Jia Xiuping were detained in the Daxing District Detention Center.

22. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Ms. Hu Liqun Detained

Ms. Hu Liqun, 46, employee at the Main Warehouse, Supplies Department, Shengli Oilfield, was arrested at work by personnel from the Security Division of the Supplies Department on the morning of November 17, 2015. She was taken to the Jidi Domestic Security Division affiliated with the Binhai Police Department. That afternoon she was taken to the Binhai Police Department Detention Center for 15 days of detention. She went on a hunger strike that afternoon.

23. [Changde City, Hunan Province] Ms. Chen Yinqiu Harassed

Ms. Chen Yinqiu from Hangongdu Town in the Dingcheng District was harassed by officers from the Dingcheng District Police Department and the 610 Office on the morning of November 5, 2015. Her home was ransacked. Ms. Chen was not home at the time and was not arrested. Officers from the Hangongdu Town Police Station came to her home to harass her again on November 10, 2015.

24. [Yi County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhao Lingyan Arrested

Mr. Zhao Lingyan from Jiushaoguo Village in the Zhangjiabao Township was arrested at home by a group of people led by the director of the Zhangjiabao Township Police Station at noon on November13, 2015. The officers confiscated his notebook computer.

25. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Youxiang Detained

Ms. Liu Youxiang was arrested on November 13, 2015. She was placed in detention.

26. [Tianjin] Ms. Dong Xuemei and Ms. Li Shuzhi Harassed

Six or seven officers from the Hongqiao Domestic Security Division and from the Dahutong Police Station broke into Ms. Dong Xuemei's home and ransacked it on the morning of November 12, 2015. They took audio and video recordings. They also recorded their interrogations about the lawsuit she filed against Jiang Zemin.

Two officers went to Ms. Li Shuzhi's home. They told her to go to the police station, where she was questioned for over two hours.

27. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chen Shuyuan Arrested

Ms. Chen Shuyuan was arrested by officers from the Lishan Police Station when she was distributing desk calendars with information about Falun Gong on November 16, 2015.

28. [Tianjin] Ms. Lan Sumin Detained; Ms. Li Chun'e Arrested

Ms. Lan Sumin from Lianzhuang Township in Ninghe County was arrested by officers from the Lianzhuang Township on November 12, 2015. She was then taken to the county detention center.

Ms. Li Chun'e from Fengtai Town in Ninghe County was arrested by officers from the Fengtai Town Police Station on November 17, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin.

29. [Beijing] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Bai Shuhui and her husband Mr. Xu Xuekun, from Dashiwo Village, Dashiwo Town, in the Fangshan District, were arrested by officers from the Fangshan Domestic Security Division on November 15, 2015. The officers ransacked their home. The couple's whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Liu Shufen and Ms. Wang Yuxia, of Huinanzhuang Village, Dashiwo Town, the Fangshan District, were arrested on November 17, 2015.

30. [Lijin County, Shandong Province] Female Practitioner Xueyun Arrested

Female practitioner Xueyun was arrested by officers from the provincial 610 Office and the county 610 Office around November 9, 2015. Her Falun Dafa books and other equipment were confiscated.

31. [Fanshi County, Shanxi Province] Six Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Liang Tiancai (Sanxiao), Mr. Shao Huahua, Ms. Ren Caiping, Ms. Wang Sanfeng, and Mr. Lu Junguo were recently arrested. Several practitioners were harassed. The five arrested practitioners were released on November 17, 2015.

Mr. Li Pingyu of Qicheng Village in Daying Town was arrested on November 3, 2015.

32. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Huang Yazhong and Ms. Huang Suying Detained

Mr. Huang Yazhong was arrested at work by officers from the Linyuan Police Department on the morning of November 17, 2015. He was detained in the Datong Detention Center in Shanxi Province.

Ms. Huang Suying was arrested on her way home from work by officers from the Linyuan Police Department on the morning of November 17, 2015. She was detained in the Dulitun Detention Center.

33. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xiulian Detained

Officers from the Binhai Police Department and the Power Plant Police Station in Shengli Oilfield went to the kindergarten affiliated with the power plant and arrested Ms. Wang Xiulian on November 17, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. Ms. Wang is detained in the Niuzhuang Detention Center.

34. [Yanggu County, Shandong Province] Young Female Practitioner Shanshan Arrested

A young female practitioner Shanshan, of Chengjiaomeng Village in Qiaorun Administration Area, was arrested by officers from the Dabu Police Station when she was distributing Falun Gong informational materials on November 9, 2015.

35. [Longkou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Guo Xiaozhen Detained

Ms. Guo Xiaozhen, an employee at the Alumina Plant in the Longkou Nanshan Group was arrested by officers from the Donghai Police Station on November 13, 2015. She was held in the Donghai Police Station for a day. She was then taken to the Longkou City Detention Center that evening for 10 days of detention.
36. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wu Baoku Arrested

Mr. Wu Baoku was arrested.

37. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Yang's Home Ransacked

Six or seven people from the Xiuyue Police Station and Neighborhood Administration went to Ms. Liu Yang's home and ransacked it on the afternoon of November 16, 2015. They confiscated a 7280-series printer, a desktop computer, all her Falun Dafa books, photos of the founder of Falun Gong, and over 200 yuan in cash.
