(Minghui.org) During the holiday season, Falun Gong practitioners in Australia hold all kinds of activities to tell the public what Falun Gong is, and expose the brutality of the ongoing persecution in China.
On November 21 and 28, practitioners in South Australia participated in Christmas parades in Port Adelaide and Norwood. It was the 14th year that Falun Gong was invited to perform at these parades.

The float decorated with lotus flowers, as well as practitioners demonstrating Falun Gong exercises in traditional Chinese costumes, were welcomed by spectators, several of whom expressed interest in learning Falun Gong.
Sue, one of the parade organizers, thanked practitioners for contributing to multiculturalism in Australia. “Peace, democracy, and tolerant culture makes the society harmonious and enhances communication between people with different backgrounds,” she said.
More Chinese Learning of the Persecution
Last weekend, practitioners from Brisbane collected signatures at King George Square, calling for help to end the persecution of the spiritual practice by the Chinese regime. There, more than 40 Chinese announced that they would no longer be a member of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Annie, a local Falun Gong practitioner, came to Australia from China two years ago. She comes to the square every week and has convinced several thousand Chinese to quit the CCP, under whose rule thousands of practitioners have been tortured to death.
After a long conversation, one young man put his hands together in front of his chest, and said to Annie, “Thank you very much for telling me all these, and giving me a chance to quit the Party.”
Many Westerners also condemned the persecution. One local resident said, “Although our country has a good relationship with China, I must sign the petition. The Chinese government should not treat Falun Gong like that.”
