(Minghui.org) My family did not fully understood how I suffered after Jiang Zemin began the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in 1999.
After I recently filed a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, police officers started harassing my family. One of my family members telephoned the rest of our relatives about it, and my entire family then understood the persecution, and realized that it was unjust.
My family used to stop me from talking to people about Falun Gong. After the harassment began, they agreed that suing Jiang was the right thing to do, because everything I wrote was true.
The police harass practitioners who file complaints against Jiang with the ruse that they are just verifying facts listed in the complaints. However, the local police can verify the content of the lawsuits themselves, since they carried out the persecution. If a signature is required, the investigating officers should sign and verify that the lawsuits are factual.
The lawsuits submitted by practitioners are charging only Jiang. We are actually giving the officers who persecuted us a chance to redeem themselves. Officers who are wise discreetly support and help practitioners with the lawsuits against Jiang.
