(Minghui.org) I would like to share my understanding about the significance of suing Jiang Zemin in this article.
Nothing Wrong with Suing Jiang Using One's Real Name
I sued Jiang Zemin this July using my real name and mailed the criminal complaint to the Supreme People's Court and Supreme People's Procuratorate.
On September 7 the Minghui website published “Notice Regarding Suing Jiang” which stated, “For practitioners participating in reporting Jiang's crimes, if your identity has never been exposed, then do not include your personal information. You may use a pseudonym.”
After reading this, I wavered a little and doubted if my act of suing Jiang by using my real name was correct, for I was a practitioner who “had never been exposed.” My fear made me believe that I might have done wrong and did not meet Teacher's requirement.
Through Fa study, such negative thoughts were eliminated. I felt assured that it was not wrong to sue Jiang using my real name.
Due to the evil's interference, one of my letters was intercepted by an official from the local Domestic Security Division. Police used the letter as a reason to harass and interrogate me. My supervisors also put a lot of pressure on me.
It was the first time I faced such interference. I was a little scared. Thanks to Teacher's strengthening, I made it past the tribulation smoothly.
Letting Go of Fear and Seeing People Change
From Teacher's Fa, I learned that everything in history existed for Fa rectification. Nothing that happens to practitioners is accidental. Whatever Dafa practitioners encounter, good or bad, are good things. Everything that happens today in ordinary society is the result of Dafa practitioners' thoughts.
When I let go of fear and regarded everything I encountered as a test in cultivation and as an opportunity to tell people the facts about Falun Gong, I found that everything changed.
The police, in particular, changed. Some said, “I want to retire and no longer want to do such a job.” My supervisors also changed and said, “No one will bother you if you practice (Falun Gong) secretly at home when you're off from work.”
People who knew me well started reflecting on the persecution of Falun Gong and viewing Falun Gong in a positive way. People who have a good sense of right and wrong admired Dafa practitioners from the bottom of their hearts.
A Good Opportunity to Tell People the Facts
More importantly, I didn't know how to talk to people about Falun Gong and the persecution. I was afraid that I could not make it clear to people or that they would not be willing to listen.
After I sued Jiang, the evil interfered in my life and work. It seemed that fireworks were thrown into my dimension and drew people to me. They were so curious about what had happened and came to ask me questions. So I just used it as a good opportunity to tell them about Falun Gong.
Now when I recalled this “tribulation,” I could better understand its significance.
Teacher said,
“Really, no matter what the old forces do, that's what will happen under the effect of the cosmos's [law of] mutual-generation mutual-inhibition--whatever it does will amount to advertising on the Dafa disciples' behalf. Let's take, for example, the many projects Dafa disciples are doing. As soon as the evil interferes, the forces that are upright and good emerge in turn. And it's the same with whatever the bad people do: As soon as they smear us, or want to do something bad and stir up trouble, it inherently has the effect of expanding our influence.
“So, any bad person may go and commit his wrongful acts and go around stirring up trouble, but whatever he achieves is sure to lend assistance to Dafa disciples in their salvation of people. (Applause) That wasn't his original intent or what those bad people wanted, but as soon as they make a move, that's inevitably the effect it has.
“All the adverse things that come about are tests for Dafa disciples related to increasing mighty virtue.” (from Fa Teaching at the U.S. Capital)
From the above Fa lecture, I was enlightened to the significance of Dafa practitioners' suing Jiang: We are not attached to its result because bringing Jiang to justice is an historical inevitability. What's important is for us to let go of our attachments and take the opportunity to save people who were deceived by the CCP's lies during the process of suing Jiang.
