(Minghui.org) In an effort to stop Shenyang City residents from suing Jiang Zemin, local police in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, continuously harassed and illegally arresteddozens of Falun Gong practitioners for exercising their legal right to sue the former dictator. The arrests took place on October 20, 2015.
This particular instance of persecution against Falun Gong was led by head of Shenyang City Police Department, Xu Wenyou.
Cases in Heping District
Ms. Cheng Zhongxiu was harassed at home by officers from the Nanhu Police Station, Heping District, on October 22, 2015. Ms. Cheng became displaced to avoid further harassment and arrest.
Ms. Wang Yaping was arrested by officers from the Heping District Domestic Security Division on October 20, 2015. She was first detained at the Taiyuan Police Station and later detained at a detention center.
Three female practitioners were arrested by officers from the Jixian Police Station on October 21, 2015. Two practitioners were released the same night. However, Ms. Mao Jun is still detained.
Ms. Xu Fengxian was arrested by officers from the Bajing Police Station on October 20, 2015. She was detained temporarily, but on the next day the police tried to arrest Ms. Xu again.
Mr. Hong Ruisheng was arrested by officers from the Heping District Domestic Security Division and the Bajing Street Police Station on October 22, 2015.
When Ms. Wang Jingzhe was arrested, her home was ransacked by officers from the Xita Police Station on October 22, 2015. She is detained at the Shenyang City Detention Center.
Ms. Na Yan was arrested by officers from the South Market Police Station on November 2, 2015. She is detained at the Santaizi Detention Center in Huanggu District.
Ms. Cao Caizhen was harassed by officers from the Taiyuan Police Station on November 3, 2015, while she was with her husband at the hospital.
Cases in Huanggu District
Ms. Tong Liqin was arrested by officers from the Liaohe Police Station on October 22, 2015, from her home. She has been detained at the Shenyang Detention Center.
Ms. Du Lijie, 68, was arrested by the city domestic security police on October 22, 2015, from her home. She has been detained at the Shenyang Detention Center.
Ms. Wang Liping, 64, was arrested by the city domestic security police on November 1, 2015, from her home. She is detained at the Shenyang Detention Center.
Ms. Liu Meijuan, over 60, was arrested by officers from the Minglian Police Station on November 1, 2015.
Ms. Yao Fengyun was arrested and detained at the Shenyang First Detention Center recently.
Cases in Yuhong District
Ms. Tong Liyan was arrested. Her home was ransacked by officers from the Yuhong Police Station on October 22, 2015. She has been detained at the Shenyang Detention Center.
Ms. Jin Lifang was arrested by officers from the Yangshixiang Police Station on October 28, 2015.
Cases in Tiexi District
Mr. Wang Yu was harassed by officers from the Xinggong Police Station over the phone on October 21 and 22, 2015.
Mr. He Ren was arrested by officers from the Xingshun Police Station on November 1, 2015.
Mr. Liu Wei was arrested by officers from the Qinggong Police Station on November 2, 2015. He is detained at the Tiexi District Detention Center.
Ms. Yan Fengjin was arrested by officers from the Tiexi Police Station on November 2, 2015. She has been detained at the Tiexi District Detention Center.
Ms. Song Xiaoming and her 15-year-old daughter were harassed by the police on November 2, 2015. She became displaced to avoid further persecution.
Mr. Zhu Jun, Ms. Jin Zhenhong, and Ms. Chu Guoli were harassed by officers from the Tiexi District on November 3, 2015. Ms. Chu became displaced to avoid further harassment.
Ms. Jian Yufeng and her daughter were arrested by officers from the Xinhua Police Station on November 2, 2015. She was detained until midnight.
Cases in Shenhe District
Mr. Liu Jiaze was arrested. His home was ransacked by officers from the Huigong Police Station on November 3, 2015. He remains at the Shenhe District Detention Center.
Ms. Guo Xiuwen was arrested by officers from the Lingyun Police Station on November 2, 2015.
Mr. Lou was arrested by police on November 3, 2015.
Cases in Dadong District
Mr. Wang Shuang was arrested by officers from the Wenguan Police Station on October 28, 2015. She remains at the Bakeshu Detention Center.
Mr. Yang Wenjie was arrested and detained for five days.
Ms. Zhang Na was arrested and detained for 15 days.
A 60-year-old female practitioner from the civil aviation yard was arrested by officers from the Chang'an Police Station on October 30, 2015. She remains at the Shenyang City Detention Center.
Cases in Hunnan District
Dozen of practitioners from Gulazi Village, Zengzigou Village, and Sanjiazi Village were arrested. Their homes were ransacked on November 2, 2015, by officers from the Shenyang City Police Department, Hunnan District Police Department, and the local police station.
Four of the practitioners were detained at the Dongling Detention Center and the rest were detained at Shenyang City Detention Center. The practitioners arrested include Wu Lianying, Wu Lianzhen, Li Shumin, Sun Zuowei, Sun Ruijie, Gao Xiuping, Wang Xiuping, Sun Xiujuan, Wang Lijiao, Sun Fenghua, Sun Yuying, Jun Baoren, Hou Shukun, Li Zixiang, Bai Shuju, Li Fuhuan, Zeng Xianzhi, Jin Shinan, Zeng Xiuxiang, and others. Most of them are still detained.
Cases in Sujiatun District
Mr. Liu Tieshi and his mother were arrested by officers from the Chenxiang Police Station on November 1, 2015.
Ms. Li Chengrong alsong with her daughters Ms. Chang Qiulan and Ms. Chang Qiuyu were arrested by officers from the Chengxiang Police Station on November 2, 2015.
Ms. Shi Changling was arrested by officers from the Chenxiang Police Station on November 4, 2015.
Cases in Liaozhong County
Nine practitioners from Liaozhong County were arrested by officers from the Yangshigangzi Police Station. Chief Huang Shimao directed the arrest on November 2, 2015. One practitioner remains detained.
Mr. Yang Youbo and Mr. Shao Yinghui, a couple, were arrested by officers from the Xiaozhaimen Police Station on November 3, 2015. Mr. Yang was released the next day, but Ms. Shao remains at the Shenyang City Detention Center.
Several practitioners from the Ciyutuo area in Liaozhong County were harassed for suing Jiang.
Ms. Zhu Suxian and Mu Baozhen were arrested by the police on November 3, 2015.
Yue Huiping was arrested by the local police on November 3, 2015.
Many practitioners from Liaozhong County were arrested by officers from the Dongjie Police Station on November 3, 2015. Some practitioners remain in detention.
Cases in Faku County
Ms. Yi Shuxian, an 80-plus-year-old practitioner was harassed by officers from the Yemaotai Town Police Station on October 23, 2015.
Ms. Chen Shufen was arrested by officers from the Faku County Domestic Security Division on October 30, 2015.
Cases in Kangping County
Ms. Yang Zhehui and Mr. Guo Yi, a couple, was arrested by officers from the Zhenbei Police Station on November 1, 2015.
Mr. Wang Yaowen and Ms. Jing Xiuhua were arrested by officers from the Dongguan Town Police Station on November 2, 2015.
Zhang Guixia was arrested by officers from the Xiguan Police Station on November 2, 2015. An Youjiang was also arrested by the same police station the next day.
Xu Wenyou's Background
Xu Wenyou was assigned as the captain of Liaoning Province Criminal Investigation Team in 2002 to suppress Falun Gong.
Xu was directly involved in pursuing and persecuting Gao Rongrong. Ms. Gao was persecuted to death by the police in Liaoning Province and Shenyang City. Xu was rewarded by upper level authorities. He was promoted to deputy chief of the Liaoning Province Police Department in 2006 and chief of Shenyang City Police Department and deputy mayor of Shenyang City.
He arrested many practitioners before the Beijing Olympics in 2008. Two practitioners were persecuted to death. He launched a massive arrest of Falun Gong practitioners again in 2013 before the China Sports Games.
