Additional Persecution News from China – October 25, 2015 (36 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in approximately 29 cities or counties in 14 provinces. According to this report, 36 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 48 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Chen Haiyan Harassed

Ms. Chen Haiyan of Gongren Village in the Qingshan District was harassed by officers from Gangcheng Police Department and Gongren Village Police Station on the morning of October 20, 2015.

2. [Huangyan City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Lu Honghui Sentenced to Seven Years in Prison

Ms. Lu Honghui was arrested at home by officers from Taizhou City 610 Office on April 26, 2015. She was taken to Taizhou City Detention Center. She went on a hunger strike many times during her detention. Ms. Lu was tried on September 9, 2015, in the Taizhou City Intermediate Court. She was sentenced to seven years in prison.

3. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Ma Zhihui Arrested

Ms. Ma Zhihui was arrested on October 22, 2015.

4. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Liu Xiaohui's Home Ransacked

Residential police officers from the Nankang Police Station ransacked Mr. Liu Xiaohui's home on the evening of October 19, 2015. They confiscated Falun Dafa books, materials, a laser printer, a Canon 4760 color inkjet printer, a Canon 4980 color inkjet printer, camera supplies, two boxes of B5 paper, one box of A4 paper, two large knives, a stapler, nine packets of advanced rubber backlit photo paper, and about 600 yuan worth of paper bills with facts about Falun Gong printed on them. Mr. Liu escaped while the police were searching his home.

5. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Zhao Songying Arrested; Ms. Ai Juan Harassed

Xingguan Road Police Station officers arrested 70-year-old Ms. Zhao Songying and took her to the police station on October 21, 2015. The director and deputy director resorted to both persuasive and coercive measures to get blood samples from her before releasing her.

On October 23, 2015, officers from Xingguan Road Police Station dragged Ms. Ai Juan to the police station to take blood samples from her.

6. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Jingzhe Detained

Ms. Wang Jingzhe from the Dadong District was arrested at work on October 22, 2015. She is now in Zaohua Detention Center.

7. [Tahe County, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Harassed

Cui Yuzhi, head of Tahe County Domestic Security Division, and other officers broke into Mr. Dong Yuanbo's home and Ms. Ma Qingyu's place of work and harassed them on October 23, 2015. Cash in the amount of 1,000 yuan was extorted from Mr. Dong, who is 73 years old. Shortly before October 23, the police harassed them several times.

Officials from Taihe County Political and Legal Affairs Committee and domestic security officers showed up at Mr. Yuan Yanming's and Ms. Wang Xiuzhen's homes and harassed them.

8. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Lianxiang Arrested

Mr. Li Lianxiang was arrested on October 23, 2015. His home was ransacked.

9. [Chongqing] Ms. Zhang Jianhua Harassed Numerous Times

Ms. Zhang Jianhua was arrested by Tongnan County police for distributing Falun Gong informational materials. After her release, she was frequently harassed at home by the police and officials from Jinianbei residential committee. Ms. Zhang had filed her lawsuit against Jiang Zemin in recent months. Residential police officers and officials from the residential committee harassed her on the afternoon of September 1, 2015. Officials from the residential committee came again to knock on her door as soon as she returned home on September 8, 2015.

10. [Shanghai] Ms. Chen Xiaoshu Detained

Ms. Chen Xiaoshu was arrested by officers from Huamu Police Station in the Pudong New Area on October 19, 2015. She is held in Pudong Detention Center.

11. [Lindian County, Heilongjiang Province] Eleven Practitioners Arrested

On the afternoon of October 22, 2015, Lindian County Neighborhood Security Division officers arrested 11 practitioners, who had filed their lawsuits against Jiang Zemin. The officers ransacked the practitioners' homes.

The 11 practitioners are:Ms. Lu Chaobo, a teacher at Experimental Primary School;Ms. Leng Xiuxia, Ms. Wang Kun, Mr. Wang Fengchen, and Mr. Ai Jiaojie, teachers at No. 1 Lindian Middle School;Mr. Xue Liwei, No. 2 Lindian Middle School; andMs. Zheng Yaoping, Mr. Wang Gang, Ms. Wang Yuru, Ms. Wang Yumei, and Mr. Jiang Hongjie.

12. [Luchuan County, Guangxi Province] Ms. Zhu Xiaolan Arrested Again

Ms. Zhu Xiaolan was arrested again in mid-October 2015.

13. [Chongqing] Ms. Ma Lanying Harassed

Officers from Hejie Police Station in the Changshou District ransacked Ms. Ma Lanying's home on the afternoon of October 21, 2015. They did not find anything. Still the officers dragged Ms. Ma to the police station and interrogated her about the lawsuits she filed against Jiang Zemin. The officers forced her to sign paperwork and took her fingerprints.

14. [Chongqing] Mr. Gong Yanzhao and Ms. Li Hualan Detained

Officers from the Hechuan District 610 Office arrested Mr. Gong Yanzhao in the Hechuan District on October 19, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. Mr. Gong was taken to the Prison Guards Brainwashing Center in Wuzheng Community in the Hechuan District.

Ms. Li Hualan was arrested and taken to the Goujia Village Detention Center in the Hechuan District on October 19, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. She was held for 10 days.

15. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Li Li and Mother Ms. Yuan Yuzhen Arrested

Ms. Li Li and Ms. Yuan Yuzhen (her mother) were arrested on October 22, 2015.

16. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Teng Yu Detained

Ms. Teng Yu, the Qinhuai District, was arrested by officers from Ruijin Road Police Station in the Qinhuai District on October 16, 2015. She is held in the Shifosi Detention Center.

17. [Tieling City, Liaoning Province] Two Practitioners Detained and Ms. Zhao Guixia Harassed

Mr. Feng Wenzhong from Dadianzi Town and another practitioner from Fangshenyang Village were arrested and detained by officers from Tieling County Domestic Security Division and Dadianzi Town Police Station on October 20, 2015.

That same day, Ms. Zhao Guixia's home was ransacked. She was not at home and avoided arrest. During the past few days, officers from the local Tongzhong Police Department and officials from the Fuqiang Community have harassed her family repeatedly.

18. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Meng Fanwei Detained

Mr. Meng Fanwei was arrested by officers from Longnan Police Department on the morning of October 24, 2015. He is being held in Dulitun Detention Center for seven days.

19. [Zhaozhou County, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Detained and Seven Practitioners Harassed

Ms. Wan Fang, Ms. Liu Yawen, and Ms. Li Yan were lured to Zhaozhou Police Department on October 22, 2015. The three practitioners were arrested for suing Jiang Zemin. They are now in Zhaozhou Detention Center. They are detained for 15 days.

Mr. Liu Zhucai, Ms. Zhang Qiulian, Ms. Wang Jinghui, Ms. Xu Fengyan, Ms. Li Ruixia, Ms. Zhou Lihua, and Ms. He Wenzhen were harassed at home.

20. [Tianjin] Ms. Cai Lili Detained

Ms. Cai Lili from the Xiqing District was arrested on October 6, 2015, for telling people about Falun Gong. She is held in the Nankai District Detention Center. She has developed severe illness symptoms as a result of abuse.

21. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Guiying Detained

Three officers from Xidajie Police Station in the Zhifu District broke into Ms. Sun Guiying's home and arrested her at noon on October 23, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. She was detained for 10 days.

22. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Zhifang Arrested

Ms. Zhao Zhifang was reported to the police for posting “Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice” stickers on October 15, 2015. She was arrested and taken to Jianshe Street Police Station. The police extorted 700 yuan from her family.

23. [Jinzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Cangmiao Harassed

Officers from Zongshizhuang Police Station went many times to Ms. Liu Cangmiao's home to harass her between October 20 and October 23, 2015. They tried to arrest her but did not succeed.

24. [Bazhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Cui Dongsheng Missing

Mr. Cui Dongsheng from Shengfang Town went out in the morning on October 23, 2015. He has never returned, and his whereabouts are unknown.

25. [Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Mr. Li Xiaoyin Arrested

Mr. Li Xiaoyin, Railway Bureau, Xinshi District, was arrested by officers from Toutunhe District Domestic Security Division on the afternoon of October 23, 2015. It is not known where he is being held.

The officers pried open and entered Mr. Li's home on the afternoon of October 24, 2015. They ransacked it and confiscated two computers, three printers, and five or so Falun Dafa books.

26. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wu Yanmei Arrested

Ms. Wu Yanmei was arrested by officers from Beiyuan Police Station.

27. [Ningcheng County, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Several Practitioners Arrested

Wang Zhancheng, officers from Ningcheng County Domestic Security Division, and six or seven officers from Tianyi Town Police Station broke into several practitioners' homes and arrested them. Ms. Chen Xiuhua, Ms. Sun Guizhi, Ms. Hua Guiyun, Ms. Zhang Fenglan, and Ms. Yu Guilan were taken to the police station. Ms. Chen Xiuhua and Ms. Sun Guizhi were released that afternoon after being fined 1,000 yuan each.

Ms. Chen Jiaqin, Ms. Xie Caizhen, and Ms. Wu Guiying from Sumugao Village, Tianyi Town, were taken to the Sumugao Village Committee.

28. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Jia Xiuyuan in the Shibeianju Community was told over the phone to go to Beiyuan Police Station. She has not yet returned.

Ms. Sun Yujie has not been seen since October 21, 2015. Her whereabouts are unknown.

Mr. Song Yuewu was arrested for suing Jiang Zemin.

Officers from Heping Police Station, led by their director, arrested Ms. Yao Cuixiang and four or five other practitioners, who were studying the Falun Gong teachings in her home, on the morning of October 23, 2015.

29. [Haiyang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xuemei and Ms. Ji Xiuling Detained

Ms. Wang Xuemei and Ms. Ji Xiuling are being held in a detention center. There are eight practitioners in Haiyang Detention Center. Each of them was forced to give blood samples upon arrival.

30. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Guizhi Detained

Ms. Wang Guizhi, 68, Pianling Village, Gaoguan Town, was arrested for suing Jiang Zemin by officers from Benxi City 610 Office on October 23, 2015. She is being held for 15 days in a detention center.

31. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Zhang Xiaoli Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Zhang Xiaoli was arrested and taken to Baqiao District Brainwashing Center on October 19, 2015. She has been on a hunger strike for several days. Her current situation is not known.

32. [Beijing] Mr. Liu Lei Arrested

Mr. Liu Lei was arrested on October 22, 2015.

33. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Xuan Fenghua of Yangguangjiayuan Community in the Ranghulu District and Mr. Li Wei and Ms. Xu Shulan, Linyuan Oil Refinery Factory, were arrested on October 22, 2015.

34. [Beijing] Ms. Huang Liping Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Huang Liping was arrested and taken to a brainwashing center on October 12, 2015.

35. [Wuzhi County, Henan Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Song Xiaoying from Yuyuan Village was arrested for suing Jiang Zemin on August 18, 2015. Her one-year-old nephew, who was with her, was also taken into custody. The baby was taken home the following day. Ms. Song was detained for 15 days.

Also on August 18, Ms. Song Xiaocui and her 25-year-old daughter were arrested for suing Jiang Zemin. They were released the same day.

Chen Xin, head of Wuzhi County Domestic Security Division, and several other officers arrested Ms. Deng Xiuping, Ms. Song Yaqin, Ms. Guo Guilian, and Ms. Zheng Mingxia on August 18, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. The officers ransacked the practitioners' homes. These practitioners were again arrested on September 29, 2015.

36. [Jiayu County, Hubei Province] Ms. He Guihong Officially Placed Under Arrest

Ms. He Guihong was placed under “criminal” detention for 37 days on October 16, 2015. Her family received a notice over the phone from Xian'an District Domestic Security Division in Xianning City that Ms. He had been officially placed under arrest.
