People Are Waiting to Hear the Truth
(Minghui.org) I began to practice Falun Dafa in 1998. I hold endless gratitude for Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, who protected me throughout the sinister persecution launched by the Chinese Communist Party 16 years ago.
I know that Master is always with me, knows my every thought, and arranged for me to meet people I am meant to save.
An Unexpected Visitor
Several years ago, a toothless woman in her 80s knocked at my door one winter day at around noon. She looked as if she had not had a good meal for a long time. So I asked her to come in and cooked her a warm meal. I could see that she enjoyed it very much.
She said she was from the mountainous area of Shandong Province and had been on the road for several months to find her son. Whenever she saw a temple, she would go inside to kowtow to the Buddha statue.
I told her about Falun Dafa and asked her to remember, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
She was very receptive and told me that she will remember it, and that she no longer needs to visit temples.
Saving a College Student
I was outside my shop one day when a young man approached me and asked where he could catch the bus. I told him he was in the right place, as the bus passed there frequently. I thought this was a great opportunity for me to talk to him about Falun Dafa.
“You look like a college student,” I said. “Have you joined the Chinese Communist Party, the Communist Youth League, or the Young Pioneers?” He said he had joined all three.
Then I said that our meeting today was predestined. I went on to explain to him that he should quit the Party and its youth organizations. He listened intently and agreed to withdraw–using his real name.
I had his attention, so I kept talking with him. I told him that saying “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” can save his life whenever he encounters danger. He put his hands together and bowed to thank me. I said, “Don't thank me. Thank my Master.”
Just as we finished, the bus arrived. I understood that the time for saving people is limited, and that we really need to hurry up and use every available minute.
How Did You Know My Name?
On one occasion, another practitioner and I were talking to a CCP member about withdrawing the Party. The man was in a hurry and needed to catch the bus. I said, “Don’t wait, do it now. The earlier the better. I can give you a pseudonym...how about Baolin?” He was shocked, told me that his name was Baolin, and wondered how I knew.
“This is called a predestined relationship,” I said. He smiled and told me to enter his withdrawal, as I already knew his name.
This was not the first time this has happened to me. I often guess people's names correctly. It helped me give them information about Dafa and convince them to withdraw from the Party. I knew it was arranged by Master.
My Big Regret
Several years ago, I had a customer who wore a lot of heavy make-up. Although she was always pleasant, I did not like her and never chatted with her much. I thought about telling her about Falun Dafa, but never did.
One morning, she came to my shop and told me she was leaving the area soon, and that this was her last visit to my shop. I was busy with another customer, so I did not have the time to talk to her. I often think of her and regret that I never told her about Dafa.
A Smart College Girl
A girl in her early twenties came into my shop during lunch hour. I got up to help her. I planned to finish my lunch, but thought that I had to tell her about Dafa. As she was leaving, I hoped she would return for another purchase.
As if she could read my thoughts, she turned around, grabbed a bottle of water, and put it on the counter.
I then talked to her and asked if she had joined the CCP. She said yes, so I asked her to sit with me for a while and we chatted. She agreed to quit the Party. We continued our conversation; fortunately, no customers came in to interrupt us.
She was a pleasant young college student and very happy to hear what I had to say. She apologized for taking up so much of my time and letting my lunch get cold. I told her it did not matter and that I was very happy she came into my shop and chatted with me.
