(Minghui.org) I would like to share the cultivation stories of my sister, my daughter and myself while filing our lawsuits against Jiang Zemin.
Submitting My Lawsuit Right Away
The Supreme Court of China enacted a new policy on May 1, 2015. That is, every complaint was to be registered and processed. So, now we are able to sue Jiang Zemin. It took me three days to complete my submission. I took quick action with righteous thoughts, and during the process I cultivated myself.
It was 3:00 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon when I was on my way to the post office to mail my indictment. It was drizzling, but I did not open my umbrella. I felt the rain was refreshing and my steps were light.
I had been to this post office numerous times to mail letters to different people to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa. But today it was different. I was going to mail an indictment against Jiang Zemin, the instigator of the persecution.
One of Shen Yun's performances, “The Monkey King Thwarts the Evil Toad,” flashed into my mind. I sent out strong righteous thoughts: “All beings and matter involved in suing Jiang, including those accepting the submission at the post office, all its staff members, and every being in the process of delivering the indictment, must act according to the Fa rectification. This is their mission and glory and the meaning of their existence.”
I felt all related beings were listening to my order reverently and respectfully. I felt how when Dafa disciples open up their minds, everything can be saved.
It was near closing time when I arrived at the post office. Only one staff member was there.
“Express post please,” I said to the officer.
“Twenty dollars. It will arrive in three days.”
Simple and short dialogue. I felt so lighthearted when I stepped out of the post office with the receipt. The following Tuesday at noon I received confirmation from the Supreme People's Procuratorate.
My Sister Submitted Her Lawsuit One Month Later
My sister started to write the indictment early, but she did everything slowly. She was always behind in everything. Yet my daughter and I did not push her or boss her around this time. It was the time for her to complete it all by herself because the Fa rectification has progressed this far, and her cultivation has proceeded to this day. It was not until late June that she gave her first draft to my daughter and me to review.
Both of us read her draft that night. My daughter praised her for being a good writer because the indictment had over fifteen thousand words, even longer than mine. But her format was not right, and other bits were not quite how they should be. In the past we would have changed and deleted paragraphs for her, but this time we did not do so because we cannot cultivate for her. We gave her suggestions and let her amend it herself.
It was a process of cultivation for her to revise her draft. Both of us pointed out her attachments, her improper temperament and the lengthy wording. She put a lot of effort into the revision, and several days later I received her revision. This time it was clear and simple without redundancy and sentimentality. She realized that, just like writing the criminal complaint, revising it was also a process of cultivation.
She printed out the final copy at my home. She expressed her thanks to me with a happy heart. She posted the indictment before July. She was very happy.
At times, I used to push her with sarcasm when I could not put up with her slowness. She would then feel hurt. However, this time I did not push her, and it was also a cultivation process for me.
I had a dream that morning: My sister and I got onto the train with no one on board yet. Soon the train was full of Dafa practitioners. A table was set up before us on which there were delicious dishes. No one else had such special treatment. We shared the food with other practitioners, and all of us were very happy. I knew that Master was encouraging her and me. In particular, she was not slow in suing Jiang this time, because she boarded the train early.
I told my sister about my dream. She was delighted. She said that in previous dreams she was always slow and not able to get on to the train in time. It seemed she had let go of a lot of her bad habits in the process of suing Jiang.
Beyond our expectations, her lawsuit was published on Minghui.org. The local practitioners included it in our fliers we distribute locally. We printed a lot of the fliers. I felt happy for her. She did not show any human attachments during the process.
My Daughter Submitted Her Lawsuit on July 20
I started to push my daughter to write her indictment. She had not yet started and even said she did not want to write one. I asked her why, and she said she did not want to recall the painful past. I understood her. She was in middle school at the onset of the persecution, and she experienced hardships that any other girl her age would not have. However, she was not just a teenager, but a Dafa practitioner. I reminded her to let go of sentimentality and her pain. I reminded her that we are helping Master rectify the Fa and saving sentient beings, especially those beings in the legal system in China. She agreed to write her criminal complaint.
The next day she told me she was not sentimental anymore and started to write. Soon, she finished her draft.
I cried when I read it. I had read many indictments written by practitioners without any tears. From a teenager's perspective, she told us the pain she experienced during the persecution. How would it be possible that I was not touched! My sister cried as well when she read it.
My daughter worked in Beijing, but her household registration was in my city. I worried about her safety if she used her current Beijing address in the indictment. But she insisted on submitting it in Beijing.
She sent me a message in the morning on July 20 that the courier had picked up her package. At 7:00 p.m. she sent me a confirmation receipt from the Supreme People's Procuratorate. She was successful in filing the complaint and soon it was published on Minghui.org.
Thank you Master for your guidance! Thank you fellow practitioners for your co-operation!
