(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 1 Falun Gong practitioner was subjected to mistreatment during detention, and at least 14 practitioners were illegally arrested and detained.

8. [Muling City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Peng Jianpu Deprived of Medical Attention for His Torture-Induced Injuries in Prison

1. [Xianning City, Hubei Province] Mr. Xu Changhong Detained
Mr. Xu Changhong was arrested on September 10, 2015. He was recently transferred from the brainwashing center to Xianning City Detention center.
2. [Lishui City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Hu Suxiang Detained
Ms. Hu Suxiang was detained for 10 days.
3. [Xiantao City, Hubei Province] Ms. Tong Dongxiang Taken to Brainwashing Center
Ms. Tong Dongxiang was arrested and taken to the Banqiao Brainwashing Center in Wuhan City on September 12, 2015.
4. [Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Huang Caiyun and Ms. He Huiling Arrested
Officers from the Qingyuan City Police Department, the 610 Office, and the local police station broke into Ms. Huang Caiyun's and Ms. He Huiling's homes on the morning of September 10, 2015. They ransacked their homes, confiscated printers, computers, and Falun Dafa books, and arrested the two practitioners.
5. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Liu Lanying Arrested
Ms. Liu Lanying was arrested on August 18, 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin.
6. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Li Meiyu Arrested
Ms. Li Meiyu owns a store near the Nanyang Oilfield Construction Company. She was arrested by officers from Zhangdian Police Station on September 9, 2015.
7. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Six Practitioners Arrested
Six residents from Xinfa Town, Harbin City were driving around to distribute Falun Gong informational materials on September 21, 2015, when they were reported to local police. Four officers soon arrived and pulled the six practitioners over and confiscated Mr. Zhu Qiangong's minivan that was used as transportation.
Mr. Yan, 79, was released that night because of his advanced age. Mr. Gao Yulin (62), Mr. Zhu (64), Mr. Liu Qingfu (65), and Ms. Liu Shuhua (around 50) were all given 15 days of administrative detention. They now remain at Daoli Detention Center. It is not clear whether Mr. Chen Fa (around 60) was released or not.
8. [Muling City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Peng Jianpu Deprived of Medical Attention for His Torture-Induced Injuries in Prison
Mr. Peng Jianpu from Muling City was sentenced to three years and three months in late 2014 for distributing Falun Gong informational materials. According to insiders, he was subjected to frequent torture during his first two months of incarceration at Hulan Prison. Currently, eight months into his imprisonment, Mr. Peng (66 years old) is still suffering from the torture-induced injuries. Both of his legs have festered and ooze pus and blood. He also has scabies all over his body, yet he is not receiving adequate medical attention.
9. [Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Zheng Jun Detained
Ms. Zheng Jun, former associate professor, was arrested on September 15, 2015 and is held in Nancheng Detention Center. The local 610 Office official's reason for the arrest was that Ms. Zheng participated in filing a criminal complaint against former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin in June when she was "released on bail" from her previous arrest in September 2014.
