(Minghui.org) I am 76 years old. My left eye is completely blind and I can barely see with my right eye. My husband is almost 90 years old and has a disabled leg. He has to walk with a cane. We live with our youngest son in a small house.
In the past both my husband and I had weak bladders. We had a bucket in our room so we didn't have to keep going to the bathroom all night. I had to urinate a dozen times a night. I could barely fall asleep before I had to get up and go again. I couldn't sleep well and it was hard to take.
An older lady who practiced Falun Gong moved next door. She heard me complaining about my problems and told me to recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” She said that it would cure my ailments. She told me that Falun Gong was a supreme Buddhist cultivation method that taught people how to be good. I agreed with her.
I brought home the amulet she gave me. I couldn't remember what she wanted me to recite so I said “Falun Dafa is good, Falun Dafa's Master is good” everyday. I liked to go to her apartment when I had the time. She would let me listen to the radio, watch Shen Yun performance DVDs and watch Falun Dafa lecture videos.
She told me that if I practiced Falun Dafa, my family would benefit from my practice. I hadn't even begun to practice yet, nor could I recite the phrase she taught me. I only believed that Falun Dafa and Teacher were good. Teacher helped me, my husband, and even my grandson! My grandson didn't like to eat and was very skinny. He now has a good appetite and has gained weight. My husband and I only get up to go to the bathroom once every night. We can sleep well now.
My neighbor also told me to remove Mao Zedong's photos from my home. She said that they would bring bad luck to the family. The photos belonged to my husband. I threw them away without telling him.
My husband stopped drinking just as though he just forgot about it. My psoriasis disappeared. Before I believed in Falun Dafa and Teacher, I suffered psoriasis every year at a certain time. It was so itchy that I had to scratch my skin until it broke and bled. It hurt so much. The flakes of my skin bothered my husband and my daughter in law. Now my skin is so smooth. I showed it to my neighbor and asked her if the psoriasis would recur. She told me that as long as I remembered Falun Dafa is good, Teacher will help me.
I asked her, “Why is Falun Dafa's Teacher so kind?” She told me Teacher came to offer salvation to the world's people and is truly compassionate. As long as I believe in Falun Dafa, Teacher will help me.” I believed that what she told me was true. Just look at what happened to me and my husband, it is the best proof.
