Falun Gong practitioners held events there on August 30, 2014 to expose the CCP's persecution, especially the live organ harvesting.

The practitioners held various banners exposing the CCP's organ harvesting atrocities. The systemic crime is committed by CCP's military, prisons, and hospitals to forcefully harvest vital organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for a lucrative profit.
Practitioners on site said their purpose was to bring awareness of the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, and inform the public not to go to China for organ transplantation, as the organs are mainly from involuntary prisoners of conscience.
