Ms. Deng Caijuan was sentenced to a four-year prison term.

Song Weixiang and officers from the Qianyang Town Police Station in Yi County harassed four practitioners at their homes on August 11 and 12, 2014. The practitioners are Mr. Zhang Bao and his wife Ms. Chen Suhua, Ms. Li Guanglan, and Mr. Liu Chengjia. The first three practitioners were forced to give their fingerprints and blood samples were taken. Mr. Liu was not at home.

Ms. Zhang Xiuying, 68, was arrested by about six officers, including Huang Xiongwei from the Domestic Security Division, on the morning of May 22, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was issued an arrest warrant on June 4, 2014, and is being held at the Yangshan County Detention Center in Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province.

Ms. Cheng Ping was arrested by officers from the Bajilei Town Police Station on the morning of August 28, 2014.

Ms. Wang Mingying was transferred from the Hubin Detention Center to the Rongjiawan Detention Center by officers from the Louqu Domestic Security Division and Wulipai Police Station on September 4, 2014.

Ms. Zhao Shujun and Ms. Liu Yuqin were arrested by officers from the Malanyu Police Station on September 1, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Liu was released at 11:00 p.m. after officers extorted 10,000 yuan from her. Ms. Zhao is being held at the Zunhua Detention Center. Their motorcycles and cell phones were confiscated.

Ms. Lai Suzhen, 85, was arrested by Yao Jianguo from the Hanzhong City 610 Office and plainclothes officers on the morning of August 24, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken to the Dongdajie Police Station where she was handcuffed and interrogated. Her hands were injured and bleeding. She was released that evening.
18. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Two Dozen Practitioners Arrested
Officers from the Dongchang Police Department and local police stations arrested several practitioners and ransacked their homes on the morning of September 2, 2014. It was said that at least two dozen practitioners and their relatives were arrested that day.
