(Minghui.org) The Falun Dafa Divine Land Marching Band in New Zealand was invited to participate in the annual Blossom Festival held in the city of Hastings in the North Island on September 13, 2014. This tradition started in the 1950s and was meant to welcome spring, the season that brings prosperity and harvest (In New Zealand, Spring starts in September).

The majestic sound of the drums and trumpets warmed the spectators on a spring day. Many asked the practitioners for fliers and read them right away. The crowd was in a festive mood and took photos and videos, and cheered and clapped as the band passed by.
A Maori girl was very excited when she saw the band and followed the Falun Dafa procession in order to take more pictures. She asked a member of the band to take a picture with her.
One of the members of the band said that a spectator asked what the band's name was and raised his thumb up saying “Fantastic! Fantastic!”
