(Minghui.org) A few years ago I had a dream. I dreamed I was on the west side of my village and I was talking to a large group of people about Falun Gong and the persecution. More and more people gathered and listened. Suddenly I was sitting in the sky, and a large crowd was below. A voice shouted: "Hurry up and come in, the gate will be closed soon!" People who were outside the (invisible) gate remained there and they seemed not to hear the voice. I then woke up and realized it was a dream.
I still haven't forgotten that dream, and frequently think about it. We need to hurry and awaken people. This is our mission and responsibility.
I am 70 years old. Because I'm not very well educated, I haven't been able to contribute much. All I can do is to follow Master's wishes to fulfill our sacred mission. I distribute materials and talk to people about Falun Gong every day.
Clarify the Truth Rain or Shine
The weather was especially hot this summer, but I didn't stay home and rest. I went out with fellow practitioners to help people understand Falun Gong and the persecution every day.
My most memorable experience was when a lady walked up to me and asked, "Do you know anyone who practices Falun Gong?" I asked what she needed. She said, "So many people are quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). I wish to quit the Youth League." I said I practiced Falun Gong, and she said, "Could you help me to quit?" I said sure and asked her whether she understood why one should quit. She said she understood after she read some informational materials. She then told me her real name and thanked me for helping her.
Another time I met a middle-aged gentleman. He said, "I like to read Falun Gong materials. I often sit here to rest. Please bring me new materials often." He added, "The CCP is so corrupt and it should have perished long ago!"
Of course, there are still some people who refuse to listen to the truth. Every day I meet people who curse or ridicule me. Sometimes people try to report us. But we have no fear. We look for anyone who can be saved. When I'm covered with sweat, and my clothes are soaked, or I'm really thirsty, I feel incredibly happy when I look at the list of people in my hands of those who want to quit the CCP.
Sometimes it was so hot that I was dizzy when I got home. My husband said, "Why didn't you stay home and take a break on this hot day? You like to suffer, don't you?" In my heart, I know my suffering does not compare with how much Master endures to save sentient beings.
My husband is very supportive. He takes care of all the housework so that I have free time to do things for Dafa.
One rainy day, I brought some Falun Gong informational materials to a construction site. There were a dozen of workers there. I told them that Falun Gong practitioners are good people who follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and that the CCP tries to stop people from practicing Falun Gong, and they even take practitioners' organs and sell them for money. The workers all understood and quit the CCP and its associated organizations.
When I gave a dance teacher the latest Shen Yun DVD I told her, “This is a precious gift. It contains amazing things and it will help you.” She said, “I'm going to watch it right away!” When I told her about quitting the CCP she immediately agreed to quit.
Stop the Evil with Righteous Thoughts
A practitioner once had an appointment with me to go talk to people about Falun Gong. She arrived first and saw a young man waiting for a bus. She walked over and gave him the Internet anti-blocking software. The man grabbed her arm and tried to phone the police. The practitioner saw me coming. She broke free, ran towards me, and told me the man was calling the police.
I immediately told the practitioner to leave. Then I walked over to the man and said, "Young man that lady wanted you to know the truth and it's for your benefit. Why do you want the police to arrest her?" The man said, "Forget about it," and hung up the phone.
He asked me, "Do you have those informational materials in your bag too?" My bag was full of them, but I was very calm and I did not answer him directly. I said I was going to the market to shop. Out of concern for safety I did not talk about Falun Gong with him. Later I found out he worked for the 610 Office.
Returned Home Two Hours after Being Arrested
On August 17 of last year, when a practitioner and I were distributing Shen Yun DVDs, someone reported us. We were arrested and taken to the police station.
A police officer asked me who gave me the DVDs. I said, “I won't tell you.” He asked me why. I said, “If I tell you who the person is, you'll arrest them. He stood up and left the room. Now only I and the practitioner were in the room. I sent righteous thoughts and asked Master to help us. I was able to make a phone call to another practitioner and told him that we were held at the police station.
After receiving my call, the practitioner immediately notified my family members. My family came to the police station right away and demanded my release. The practitioner also notified other local practitioners to send righteous thoughts. I could feel the evil being defeated.
With Master's protection, my fellow practitioners and family members acted as one body. Within two hours we returned home safely.
