Greetings, revered Master! Greetings, fellow practitioners!
I have participated in the RTC project to call people in China to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations for several years. I get up early in the morning and go to bed late at night. Although it’s difficult, I’ve enjoyed it very much and I’m confident doing it.
Master knew my heart to save people and gave me a lot of wisdom. In just a few words on the phone, the person understands the truth of Falun Dafa and quits the CCP. The number of people quitting the CCP has been increasing, and it’s given me courage. During this project, I’ve gradually become more mature in cultivation.
Letting Go of Sentimentality, Doing Well in Saving Sentient Beings
On December 12, 2013, my husband and I were granted British visas to visit our son in the UK. However, just three days before we were about to take the flight, my husband (a practitioner) suddenly passed away. I felt dreadful and didn't know what to do. He was the mainstay of our family and took care of everything. The loss of my husband grieved me deeply. It seemed a life and death test for me.
“I am a Dafa disciple,” I repeatedly told myself. "This test of life and death was to see if I can let go of sentimentality. I am a Dafa disciple helping Master in the Fa-rectification. No matter how many times I have reincarnated, it is all for today – to help Master in the Fa-rectification, to not be attached to ordinary people’s loss and gain, to walk well on the path to godhood and to remove sentimentality. I must let go of sentimentality--saving sentient beings is my only wish. If many predestined people can be saved and not be eliminated, the pain of losing my husband becomes very small."
Master Li said:
“Cultivation practice must take place through tribulations so as to test whether you can part with and care less about different kinds of human sentimentality and desires. If you are attached to these things, you will not succeed in cultivation.”
“If you are free from this sentimentality, nobody can affect you. An everyday person’s mind will be unable to sway you. What takes over in its place is benevolence, which is something more noble.” (Lecture Four, Zhuan Falun)
The Fa gives me strength and courage. Since I started practicing Falun Gong, I have been through many tests. This time I was being tested on how I dealt with the attachment of sentimentality.
Master taught us that, whatever we do, we should consider others first, so as to attain the righteous enlightenment of selflessness and altruism. Only getting rid of attachments can be counted as true improvement. When I let go of sentimentality, Master reinforced my energy and broadened my mind.
Practitioners on the RTC team shared with me and encouraged me, and I was happy to continue. I felt my energy field growing, my compassion flowing forth. Every time I called China, a strong energy field would restrain the person who answered. A few simple words and they would understand the truth and agree to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Every day there were a few occasions when groups of people quit the CCP together.
One day, the call was connected to soldiers on a military construction site. They were taking a break. One solider said, “Now in the military, even minor cadres are very corrupt.” They hated the CCP. As soon as I mentioned quitting to secure a peaceful future, they agreed. Eight of them quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. I was very happy for them being saved. There were three such groups on that day: Thirty people in total quit the CCP.
When I called the Beijing government offices, I felt Master reinforcing my energy field, giving me wisdom. I told them that I was also a cadre in the past. It eased their worries and made them open up to listen to me. In the end, several important cadres quit the CCP. I enlightened that they had good inborn quality, but without Master’s encouragement, what could I have done?
Stepping Forward and Fulfilling Vows
After my husband’s funeral, I went to the UK to be with my son. Birmingham is the second largest city in the UK, and many Chinese people live there. It was local practitioners’ good fortune that the UK’s 2014 Shen Yun show was held in Birmingham. It was an opportunity created by Master for Birmingham practitioners to cooperate with each other, to step forward – such a chance is not easy to come by. I enlightened that the reason I was there was for me to validate the Fa. I thanked Master for giving me a good cultivation environment.
Many things are not simple in the Fa-rectification period, nothing is just a coincidence. Every time I read sharing articles by European practitioners who clarify the truth in their cities, I was very touched and couldn’t wait to step forward. At the UK’s national Fa study, several practitioners shared with me on how to break through the cultivation environment in Birmingham to save more beings. When I had this intention, Master helped me.
In mid-July, Practitioner A called me. She said her daughter’s family would be away on holiday so I could come stay with her. Practitioner A said that she also asked local Practitioner B and Practitioner C from another city, who were experienced at helping people quit the CCP in person, to come to join us. That way we could team up to help people in Birmingham quit the CCP. I was very happy to hear that. Wasn’t this exactly what I was looking for? I quickly agreed to participate.
To save time, we lived in A’s home. On the first day, we encountered interference from the weather – heavy rain. Practitioner C shared with us. She has very strong righteous thoughts. She said that when they clarified the truth in her city, if it rained, they talked to the rain: “We are going to save people. Please help us and go rain somewhere else.” It worked. It didn’t rain during their activities. I thought that her righteous thoughts for saving people had moved the rain.
We sent forth righteous thoughts on the way to downtown Birmingham. Our righteous thoughts were powerful, and the following days were very sunny. We got up early in the morning and did the exercises together. We sent forth righteous thoughts before we set off. We started memorizing the Fa on the way to Birmingham. We recited Master’s new articles “Righteous Thoughts” and “The Red Demon is Incinerated While Adamantine Ones are Tempered.”
In the following days, Practitioner B drove us to tourist locations – Shakespeare’s birthplace in Stratford-on-Avon, Birmingham University, Coventry University, and Warwick University – to help people quit the CCP and to see what the situation was there.
We studied the Fa in the evening. We opened our hearts in our sharing and learned from each other. We were all in harmony. 478 Chinese people quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations in that week. Once we had pure hearts, Master helped us.
Cooperating Quietly and Being Happy to Save Sentient Beings
When we explained the facts about Falun Gong to people in person, I noticed that Practitioner C put her heart into saving people. I learned from her what it meant to "hurry up and save people." She is over 60. She told the Chinese people down the street the truth about Dafa. She didn’t want to miss a single Chinese. Her sunny smile and graceful gestures were perfect. People felt close to her and quickly quit the CCP. She set a good example for us. We learned more and got better at talking to people, and the number of people quitting the CCP increased each day.
We saw many Chinese tourists when we got to Shakespeare’s hometown, but they just kept walking. Practitioner C has advised people to quit the Party for several years and has a lot of experience. She did it naturally, and within a short time she had helped more than a dozen people quit the Party.
But I still couldn’t step forward. The more I worried, the faster people walked. My mind was blocked. I realized that I should send forth righteous thoughts to clear out the bad elements in my dimension that kept me from clarifying the truth. I said to myself: “Master, I came here to save people. I shouldn’t let my thoughts prevail. I cannot let predestined people pass by in front of me.” I sent forth righteous thoughts for a while. My mind became clearer. I helped nine people quit the Party when my wisdom came forth.
Just as we were about to leave for home one day, I noticed several Chinese kids leave a supermarket and head toward a big bus. Several more followed. I realized that they were Chinese tourists and I approached them.
A man climbed down from the coach and I asked him, “Are you a tourist? I hope you have a good time. If you have a few minutes, can I ask you if you joined the CCP in China? I can help you void that oath so that you have a peaceful life. This is a free country, don’t worry.”
He told me in low voice that he was a tour guide and that he also practiced Falun Gong. He stepped off the coach when he noticed that I was helping the kids to quit the Party.
I was very excited. I held his hands and said, “We are one body. What should I do now?” He said that many kids still didn’t know the truth. I realized that I needed to get on the coach. I got on and gave the students brochures. While I handed them out, I wished them a good journey and to remember: “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” I did it very quickly. One child asked if he could take the booklet on the plane. I said this was a very precious gift, that people couldn’t see it in China, and to please keep it for his parents, and he took it.
When I got to the last row, the driver started the engine, and the tour guide said they were leaving. My righteous thoughts came forth immediately, and I knew the coach wouldn't take me away. I knew I had to tell them more. I said, “I wish you good luck and a peaceful life. Please remember: 'Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!' Have a good journey!” In a few minutes, all the students on the coach had a brochure. I was very happy for them.
Predestined People Sent to Me
That one week of face-to-face experience gave me a lot of confidence. From Monday to Friday I call China. On Saturday and Sunday, I go out with practitioners A and B to help people quit the CCP in person.
Once, in an indoor market, I clarified the truth to three Chinese, and they laughed. Practitioner B joined us and said to one of them, “Did you think what she said was funny?” The guy quickly said, “No, no.” Practitioner A sat next to him and said, “My friend, I’ll tell you frankly, if heaven wants to change something, nobody can stop it, right?” He agreed.
Practitioner B continued, “If heaven wants it to rain, nobody can stop it, right?” He nodded. B added, “If heaven wants to eliminate the CCP, nobody can stop that either, right?” He said, “Right.” B said, “Why don’t you quit the CCP? We shouldn’t have bad luck, should we?” The man said, “That's right.” A few simple words helped the man quit the CCP. During the conversation, B was kind but serious. This is the wisdom from the Fa. As long as one’s heart is on saving people, Master will do anything for us.
Once we were clarifying the truth about Falun Gong downtown. It was pouring, so we didn’t set up display boards. We sent forth righteous thoughts under the awning outside a shop. After we finished, I heard someone speaking Chinese.
I saw two students looking at a poster on the wall and spoke to them. A few words helped them quit the CCP Youth League. Then two more girls came. I talked with them. They understood the truth and quickly quit the CCP. After they left, five more Chinese people came to wait for the rain to stop. I also encouraged them to quit the Party. Two of them were the Party members.
I enlightened that, as long as we hold the heart to save sentient beings, Master will bring predestined people to us. In less than five minutes on a rainy day, nine predestined people had quit the CCP. It wasn’t just by chance.
There were many wonderful opportunities arranged for us, I was deeply touched by Dafa’s mighty power. What I did was only a small part. Many things I didn’t do well that I need to improve.
I understand that Master gives me wisdom to save more people. I am grateful for Master’s compassionate help. Within a month, on weekends alone, we helped nearly 800 Chinese people quit the CCP in Birmingham. We truly broke through the local situation. We will continue to work harder and hurry to save more precious Chinese.
From the Minghui website, we can see that the speed of Fa-rectification is surprisingly fast, and those who have been instrumental in the persecution of Falun Gong are being taken down one by one. Many people have been awakened through our clarifying the truth. Over 10,000 Chinese quit the CCP each day. Nobody can stop heaven's desire to eliminate the CCP.
If we don’t do well saving people, we will lose this chance. Master has arranged our path; it is up to us what we do. Time will not stop. I feel the urgency to save people. I need to do better to save more people quickly to fulfill my vow.
Dear fellow practitioners, helping Master save people has arrived at the final period. Compassionate Master is with us all the time, safeguarding us and awaiting our good news.
Let’s believe in Master and believe in the Fa, breaking through all human notions, obstacles, and attachments. Let’s try our best to do well the three things and follow Master to return home.
