Mr. Li’s case was submitted to the Chang'an District Court on March 13, 2014. The court held a trial on August 28, 2014. Mr. Li's lawyer and family accused the Chang'an District Procuratorate of neglecting their duties and demanded that the prosecutor Zhao Zhuangtao should be removed.
Ms. Tian’s case at the Chang'an District Procuratorate, has not gone forward yet. Her husband died of a car accident in 2006 and her teenage son is left at home alone. Her lawyer and relatives asked that she be released.
