(Minghui.org) I am from a rural area and am 68 years old. Because my husband passed away very early, I had to raise our five children myself. It has been a very difficult time and as a result of working too hard, I developed many health issues.
My neighbor practices Falun Dafa. She often tells me about Falun Dafa's beauty and its miraculous effects, as well as Master's great compassion. She also tells me the examples of those who were blessed after sincerely reciting “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I believed her, because I saw the changes in her after she started to practice Falun Dafa. She used to have a severe heart disease, high blood pressure, and arthritis. She had to quit her business because she was so ill. The doctor said she needed heart surgery, but she didn't immediately do it due to financial reasons.
Just at that time, she heard about Falun Dafa's miraculous health effects and also that it was free of charge. At the time she was on five or six different medications, but she was able to stop taking them all. It was indeed amazing. Three days later, I went to her home, and to my surprise she was like a healthy person, doing housework, and very energetic. Two weeks later, she started to do gardening again. Her recovery was unbelievable.
This experience led me to believe the miraculous power of Falun Dafa. So, I also wanted to learn it, but because I had too much work to do and was too tied up with my children and grandchildren, I did not start cultivation. All I do is sincerely recite “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” From doing this some magical things have happened to me over the past several years.
My Three-year-old Granddaughter Fell From the Roof Without Getting Hurt
In April 2012, I needed to go up on our roof, but I didn't realize that my three-year- old grandchild followed me up. I suddenly heard a loud sound behind me. I ran to the edge of the roof and looked down, and saw that my granddaughter was lying on the ground, not moving at all. I rushed down at that moment, and I suddenly remembered that my neighbor told me Falun Dafa can save people. But I couldn't think of what to say, so I just yelled, “Dafa Master please save this child! Dafa Master please save this child!” I yelled it three or four times. I got to my granddaughter, and called her name while holding her arm. In my mind I was begging Dafa's Master to help.
She began to slowly move and then stood up. Her face was red but she did not cry. I was very scared. I took her in my arms and asked her if she was in pain. She shook her head and said no. I saw that she wasn't crying and thought that it must have really frightened her, so I said, “dear, just cry, you will feel better.” She took two deep breaths but still didn't cry. After about 20 minutes, she said, “Grandma, I'm going to go play.” I put her down on the ground, and just then I saw that the soles of her shoes had completely fallen apart. My tears flowed. Even the shoes were destroyed like that but amazingly the child was okay. It was a real miracle. If something bad had happened to the child, how could I face my son and daughter-in-law? Master Li saved the child, and indeed divine beings are next to me! I was really grateful to Master Li. “Thank you Master! Thank you!”
My Life Is Protected by Dafa
One evening last summer, I went into a room and wanted to turn on the light. But before I touched the switch, my hand was stung by a scorpion. I immediately yelled out, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” I pinched my pinky where it was stung and begged Master to save me. After about five minutes, I switched the light on and saw that at the spot where I was stung, some liquid was pushed out. I remembered the previous time when I was stung by a scorpion, not only was my hand swollen, but my entire arm was swollen and the pain was all the way to my shoulder.
I went to several doctors and they all said there was no treatment. For several days it was so painful that I didn't want to eat. But this time, I thought that with Master's care I should be okay.
Indeed, I had a good sleep and the next morning, there was only a very small red dot. It didn't hurt at all and my hand was not a tiny bit swollen. I was so happy and I put my hands together and thought, “Master you are a divine being. You are next to me and you helped me eliminate the poison so that I didn't have to suffer. Thank you Master!”
Sincerely reciting “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” has brought fortune to me and my children. Last fall, there was a flu going around and my granddaughter also caught it. But she only took some medicine and got well very quickly. We only spent a couple of yuan for the medicine. However, our neighbor's child who also caught the flu was hospitalized for several days and the treatment cost them a couple of thousand yuan. I think it was because we sincerely recited “Falun Dafa is good.”
Late last fall, my son was making noodles and he made a frame with four-inch thick iron pipes to support the big pot. But when the noodles were put into the pot, they were not placed in the center and as a result the entire frame fell to one side. At the time, I was just under the frame. My sons and daughter-in-laws all ran to me and asked if I was okay. I said, “I have Dafa's amulet. It cannot hurt me.” They all smiled. In fact, the iron pipe touched my body but I wasn't hurt at all. I know that it was Master taking care of me.
Reciting “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” safeguards my life and I recite it everyday. Many of the illnesses that I had in the past were all cured with no special treatment. I am very happy. Now I also help spread the Fa and sometimes I go with my neighbors to distribute flyers. I want the whole world to know that Falun Dafa is truly good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is truly good. I wish people a good life and future!
