(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 6 provinces. According to this report, 7 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 8 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Qianxi County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Guiyan Detained

Ms. Zhao Guiyan was arrested and taken to the Qianxi County Detention Center for talking to people about Falun Gong on July 30, 2014.

2. [Guyuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Zhang Lifang Arrested

Ms. Zhang Lifang was arrested on the train for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong on August 2, 2014. She was on her way to her son's home in Shanghai.

3. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Ren Xinping Arrested

Ms. Ren Xinping was arrested at home on August 1, 2014.

4. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wu Guiqin and Two Others Detained

Ms. Wu Guiqin, Mr. Qi Junrong and Mr. Jin Xing were arrested again by the Zhangwu County Court on July 29, 2014. They are being held at the Xindi Detention Center.

5. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Ruiying Arrested

Ms. Li Ruiying was arrested on August 3, 2014.

6. [Beijing] Ms. Li Yanling Detained

Ms. Li Yanling, from the Changping District, was arrested and taken to the Changping District Detention Center for disturbing Falun Gong informational materials on July 31, 2014.

7. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wu Yanguang Arrested

Ms. Wu Yanguang was arrested and taken to the Dalian City Brainwashing Center by officers from the Ganjingzi Police Station on July 29, 2014.

8. [Nong'an County, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Xiaoqing Arrested; Husband Mr. Chang Baojun Sentenced

Ms. Zhang Xiaoqing was arrested on July 18, 2014. Her husband Mr. Chang Baojun was sentenced to eight years in prison. He is being held at the Gongzhuling Prison.

9. [Laiwu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Duan Yuanling and Two Others Detained

Ms. Duan Yuanling, Ms. Liu Erni and her husband Mr. Mi are being held at the Tai'an City Detention Center.

10. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sun Ailan Detained

Ms. Sun Ailan was taken to the Jinnan Road Drug Rehabilitation Center on July 21, 2014. Ten days later she was transferred to the Yaojia Detention Center.
