Construction Worker Not Hurt After Falling from Fifth Floor

(Minghui.org) I'm employed in the construction industry and have frequently been told about and seen accidents at construction sites. Since I began telling some of my fellow workers about Falun Dafa, accidents still happen, but no injuries have been reported.

Using Every Opportunity to Talk About Falun Dafa

Mr. He, a contractor, called me and offered me a job as head of mechanical maintenance and repair. The job requires me to work out of town for a year. I accepted the job and moved temporarily to the job site.

I was told about two accidents, with one worker's leg pierced by a steel reinforcing bar embedded in concrete, and another where a person's wrist was crushed by a machine. These two accidents cost Mr. He a lot of money.

I had known him for quite a number of years and had clarified the facts to him. I persuaded him to quit the CCP. He agreed, but did not really believe what I told him. He said that he would say “Falun Dafa is good” but never did.

The workers at the construction site are mostly from out of town and it took a while before I could understand their accents.

However everyone knew that I practiced Falun Dafa because I did the exercises in the yard every morning before work. Local practitioners also distributed Falun Dafa truth-clarifying materials and quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliates flyers.

Later, I also distributed Falun Dafa materials to them and talked about the practice. Gradually, they got to know me and some said, “Falun Dafa is good,” when meeting me.

Practitioners' Behavior Demonstrates the Goodness of Dafa

A local practitioner who works at the tax department asked me, “Is the contractor at your job site named Mr. He?” I responded, “Yes, how do you know?”

He told me that Mr. He had asked him to meet at a restaurant. He decided to go so he could tell Mr. He about Falun Dafa and the perscution. Mr. He wanted to give the practitioner a bribe of 20,000 yuan since he worked in the tax department. The practitioner didn't accept the bribe and instead talked more about the Falun Dafa and persuaded him to quit the CCP.

He also helped him resolve some of the questions he'd had about the practice. Finally, he told Mr. He that if he sincerely believes and says “Falun Dafa is good,” he would be blessed. Mr. He finally had understood the facts about Falun Dafa and said, “I remember it now, just based on your refusal to accept the money. I will say 'Falun Dafa is good' frequently.”

Benefiting From Believing That Falun Dafa is Good

One very busy summer day, Mr. Li, the head of the roof workers told me, “The mixer is broken. A big steel wheel fell. Please go and take a look.” No one got hurt, but I ran and found that the steel wheel (1.6 feet in diameter) had fallen to the ground and that the hopper for the mixer was out of whack. The person who ran the mixer said, “The steel wheel flew past my shoulder. Then the hopper also fell. I was standing right there. If I was not protected by Dafa, I could have been killed. ” Everyone was shocked.

On another cold fall day, the job was almost complete and workers had begun to take down the scaffold. A man in his twenties fell from the fifth floor to the ground floor around 3:00 p.m. The team leader took him to a hospital and called Mr. He who was on a business trip. A thorough physical exam showed no injuries but only a few light scratches. People could hardly believe it. They were astonished. The doctor suggested he stay at the hospital for some more tests.

On his return, Mr. He said, “It is amazing! I couldn't return yesterday but I thought he must have died from what I'd been told. Now there is nothing wrong. We are so lucky.”

Someone looked at me and said, “It is because Falun Dafa protects us.” I said, “Yes, there were two accidents last year and two accidents this year. Compare the difference. Why? It is because last year no one knew anything about Falun Dafa. This year, many quit the CCP and often say 'Falun Dafa is good'. This is how people are blessed.” They all nodded quietly.
