(Minghui.org) Authorities arrested Mr. Zhou Kexi and his wife, Ms. Huang Rongsheng, on June 19, 2014, for telling people about Falun Dafa. Their home was illegally searched and ransacked. This arrest for encouraging people to be good clouds their extraordinary story of perseverance.
About ten years ago, Mr. Zhou Kexi had an accident and was poisoned by gas at work, which left him in a vegetative state. The accident also left his family deeply in debt.
Mr. Zhou’s wife, Ms. Huang Rongsheng, one day came across Falun Dafa. She started to practice, and was subsequently no longer plagued by many of the ailments that had troubled her for years. She also had more energy to take care of her husband.
Mr. Zhou miraculously woke up from his vegetative state under his wife's care and her persistence in finding him treatment. He slowly started to stand up, walk, and then control his bladder and bowels. He can now almost take care of himself.
The couple went through many years of hardship in order to repay the several hundred thousand yuan of debt that they incurred for his medical care. They sold their apartment and moved three times. They finally paid back all the debt early this year.
Despite all of the tribulations, the couple credits Falun Dafa for saving and changing their lives. Ms. Huang is still eager to lend a helping hand whenever possible. Her optimism and fortitude have inspired many people. “It is Zhuan Falun that provided me spiritual strength. I now understand the reason for being a good person; wrongdoing brings karmic retribution, and being a good person will be rewarded,” said Ms. Huang.
Ms. Huang Rongsheng is a retiree from the Chinese Medicine Hospital in Lianyungang City.
