Ms. Tian Haiying Detained for Two Months; Whereabouts Unknown

(Minghui.org) Ms. Tian Haiying of Jiujiang City was illegally arrested and taken to the Jiujiang County Detention Center on June 10, 2014. She was transferred to the Duchang County Detention Center on June 13. Informed sources revealed that her arrest had been approved.

According to Duchang County Detention Center, Ms. Tian was picked up over 20 days ago, and her whereabouts are unknown. Staff there confirmed that Ms. Tian had been on a hunger strike to resist the persecution, and she was in poor physical condition.

Ms. Tian was talking to people about Falun Gong near Shahe Street County Hospital, when police, including Tang Yong, from Jiujiang Police Department took her away. This occurred sometime shortly after 8 a.m., on June 10, 2014. Tang Yong then repeatedly brutally kicked her, yelling at her that she deserved the beating.

Ms. Tian was detained at the Jiujiang Police Department Shahe Branch. The police confiscated her bike. They then threatened an older gentleman nearby, saying that they would arrest him if they saw him with Ms. Tian again. Tang Yong has been in charge of persecuting Falun Gong.

Ms. Tian is well known by many to be a good and kind person. She has been repeatedly arrested since the persecution began, and put into forced labor camps three times.
