(Minghui.org) “Humbly pressure them. Make it urgent. Everyone must sign. People are dying quickly. This is the last minute, and everyone must know they have to sign. This act is the last step for humanity,” said Shankar, an India-born Australian citizen, on July 26 in downtown Perth, West Australia. He was at a Falun Gong signature collection event, calling for the end of the persecution in China.

Shankar supported Falun Gong's peaceful resistance. After signing his name, he looked into a practitioner's eyes and said: “A signature is all we need. Everyone who walks past must understand what is happening and what is needed is a signature.

“Please let me know if I can help more,” he said as he left his cell phone number.

Telling people about the persecution of Falun Gong in China

Katie Quinn had never heard about Falun Gong and was shocked by the brutal facts of forced organ harvesting. She signed the petition and then suggested, “You need to rearrange the set-up of the booth so that you can efficiently communicate to people. There are so many philanthropic events nowadays, and most of them are asking for money. You must let people know that all you are asking for is just a signature, which costs no money or time.

“If you can efficiently visualize the information you try to pass on, you will collect more signatures,” Katie said.

Alex Hedley had the same idea. He signed his name and came back five minutes later.

“I already know about the persecution of Falun Gong. I just want to give you a suggestion to get more signatures. You should re-arrange the set up of your materials, so that people can easily figure out what you are trying to tell them.

“Let them know that 'your signature can save a life.'” Alex said.

Annika Sharpe could not believe what she saw on the display boards and asked what was going on. Before a practitioner could answer, her friend, Shaina Edmandson, said: “Patients in most countries have to wait a long time to find an organ match for a transplant. But in China, they kill prisoners for their organs, so a patient can get an organ in a short time.”

Shaina had heard about the persecution of Falun Gong and the forced organ harvesting in China. She and her friends all signed the petition.

Many Chinese people stopped by, and almost 20 of them quit the communist party.

Mr. Wang from Henan has lived in Perth for 30 years. He has been very supportive, and signed the Falun Gong practitioners' petitions many times. However, he did not understand why practitioners spent so much time on such public activities.

One practitioner told Mr. Wang how he has benefited from practicing Falun Gong and about the brutality of the persecution. He also explained the positive impact of practitioners' activities on Chinese society.

As he left, Mr. Wang patted his shoulder, and said, “You are great. Keep up the good work. Thank you for telling me.”
