(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 28 cities or counties in 11 provinces. According to this report, 7 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 41 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Junan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Xie Arrested

Ms. Liu Xie, about 65, was arrested by officers from the Chengnan Police Station on July 6, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked. She was released that afternoon.

2. [Yujiang County, Jiangxi Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Ning Qin and Ms. Hu Fengxiang were arrested at Ms. Ning's home by officers from the Domestic Security Division of Jinxi and Yujiang counties on the evening of July 14, 2014. The police ransacked Ms. Ning's home. They were taken to the Jinxi County Domestic Security Division for interrogation. Ms. Fu was released at noon the next day, and Ms. Ning is being held at the Jinxi County Detention Center.

3. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Two Practitioners Sentenced

Ms. Guan Shuli was sentenced to an 11-year prison term and Ms. Feng Xue to nine years.

4. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Wei Sentenced

Ms. Zhang Wei was recently sentenced to a seven-year prison term by the Changyi District Court. She was taken to the Jilin Province Women's Prison in late July 2014 and being made to do forced labor.

5. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Two Practitioners Detained

Ms. Zheng Shuyun and Ms. Wang Yan were arrested by officers from the Lianshan Police Station on the morning of July 17, 2014. The police ransacked their homes and then held them at the police station.

Mr. Zhang Yide and Mr. Zhang Zhijian were arrested on July 10, 2014, and are now in a detention center.

7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Chen Chunling's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Chen Chunling, 71, was arrested at home on the morning of July 18, 2014. Her whereabouts is unknown.

8. [Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Ma Xiaoli Arrested

Ms. Ma Xiaoli was arrested at her dormitory on July 14, 2014.

9. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhao Yongjie Detained

Mr. Zhao Yongjie was arrested by local police on the evening of July 15, 2014, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. Officers from the Tuanjie Police Station and Domestic Security Division ransacked his home and confiscated a computer, a printer, several cell phones, truth-clarification pamphlets, and personal items. He is now in the Hegang City No. 2 Detention Center.

10. [Bazhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Gao Junfeng Arrested

Mr. Gao Junfeng, about 70, was arrested by officers from the Nanmeng Town Justice Department and Police Station on July 15, 2014. The police confiscated his Falun Gong books and a picture of the founder of Falun Gong.

11. [Zhenlai County, Jilin Province] Ms. Liang Dan Arrested

Ms. Liang Dan was arrested at her house by six officers from the Zhenlai County Domestic Security Division on the morning of July 18, 2014. The police confiscated two boxes of Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs, Falun Gong truth-clarification pamphlets, and other personal items.

12. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Yumin and Ms. Xiufen Arrested

Mr. Wang Yumin and Ms. Xiufen were arrested because of a report by Xu Guangzhou, head of the Dazhai Village in Dongjiuzhai Town, Zunhua City.

Ms. Liu Lin and Mr. Tam Dafeng were arrested at home by officers from the Gucheng Police Station on the morning of July 18, 2014.

Ms. Liu Yingxin and Ms. Gao were also arrested.

15. [Luan City, Anhui Province] Ms. Nie Denglian Arrested

Ms. Nie Denglian, 59, was arrested by officers from the Luan City Police Department on July 2, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken to Hefei City.

16. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Shulan Sentenced to a Four-Year Term

Ms. Wang Shulan, 68, was arrested on June 25, 2013, and held in the Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian City. She was later sentenced to a four-year prison term and taken to the Liaoning Women's Prison in Shenyang City.

17. [Fengcheng City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Li Detained

Mr. Wang Li was arrested at home by Li Xiaodong and other officers from the Criminal Division of the Fengcheng City Court on the morning of July 10, 2014. He is now being held at the Dandong Detention Center.

18. [Beijing] Ms. Chen Qingzhen Arrested

Ms. Chen Qingzhen was arrested and taken to the Malianwa City Government on the afternoon of June 2, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was transferred to the Haidian Detention Center on the afternoon of June 3, 2014.

19. [Beijing] Ms. Liang Shuqin's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Liang Shuqin was arrested by plainclothes officers in early June 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Her whereabouts is still unknown.

20. [Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Jiang Weiping and Ms. Wu Xiaoxia Detained

Ms. Wu Xiaoxia was arrested by officers from the Qilidian Police Station in the Runzhou District on June 17, 2014, for reading Falun Gong books with other practitioners at Ms. Jiang Weiping's home. She is being held at the Zhenjiang City Detention Center.

21. [Yinan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Ning Dengxiu Arrested

Ms. Ning Dengxiu was arrested on July 16, 2014, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was later taken to Linyi City by Yinan County police officers.

22. [Qingan County, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhang Jingchun, 74; Ms. Liang Guifen, 77; Ms. Niu Yali, 51; and Ms. Li Yanqiu, 62, were arrested in Zhengjiatun Village on July 14, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were later taken to the Qingan County Domestic Security Division.

Ms. Liang was released. Ms. Zhang was taken to a hospital for emergency treatment. Her whereabouts is unknown.

Ms. Niu and Ms. Li were taken to a detention center that evening.

23. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Li Yufen and Ms. Wang Yulan were arrested on the morning of July 13, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Li Yumei and Ms. Hou Guilan were also arrested. The police ransacked their homes and confiscated Ms. Hou's Falun Gong books and amulets. Ms. Hou was later released on probation due to her physical condition, but the three other practitioners are still being held at the Zuoqi Detention Center.

24. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Yunliang Detained

Mr. Wang Yunliang was arrested on July 13, 2014, and is being held at the Dehui City Detention Center. On the day of his arrest, an old lady was hit by a electrical tricycle, and he was taking her to a hospital. On the way to there, the old lady suddenly died.

Mr. Fu Ran, about 25, was recently arrested by officers from the Wuqing District Domestic Security Sub-Division and the Quanzhoulu Police Station.

26. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Feng Zhifang Detained

Ms. Feng Zhifang, 62, was arrested on July 11, 2014, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is held at the Wenjiang District Detention Center.

27. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Su Xiaohua was arrested at home on July 16, 2014. Mr. Gao Hongguang, 42, and Ms. Hu Yanhua, 53, were also arrested.

28. [Heze City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Cao Cuiying, Ms. Zhao Aixiang, and Ms. Xiaohui and her mother were arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Mudan District Police Department, the Xiaoliu and the Beicheng Police Stations, on July 12, 2014.
