(Minghui.org) It was amazing to see how fast my husband, who is not a practitioner, recovered from his heart bypass surgery. Because I am a practitioner, he also benefits from Dafa. Other people learned more about Dafa after they witnessed this miracle.
In 2009, my husband was diagnosed with coronary artery disease and had three blocked arteries. A doctor said that he needed bypass surgery. I suggested to him to practice Falun Dafa, but he didn't want to. I then told him to see Chinese medicine doctors. He didn't want that either, he just wanted the surgery.
When the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started to persecute Falun Gong in 1999, my husband was deceived by the propaganda and lies put out by the CCP, and he burned Dafa books and videotapes. Somehow, I believe that his heart disease was the result of those bad deeds. He used to support me during my practice of Falun Dafa; we even had a study group in our home.
After the persecution started, police officers came to our home every few days to harass us. He was scared and hid my books and videos in his colleague's home. Once he gathered enough courage and argued with the police when they arrived. The police arrested me and put me in a brainwashing center. This really frightened him. When I was released, I found out that he had burned my books.
I told him to quit the CCP and write a statement to repent of the wrong things he did against Dafa. He asked me to write it for him, then he signed it and we submitted it to the Minghui website.
The next day, before he went to the hospital, I burned incense and asked Master to give him another chance, so that he could be saved.
His surgery went well. Hospital officials had arranged the best doctor for him. Patients are usually in a lot of pain after a surgery, but he didn't hurt much at all. He started to walk around shortly after he got out of the intensive care unit. That upset the nurse, who kept looking for him.
People waiting for the same surgery said that they were no longer afraid after they witnessed my husband's recovery. I told them that it was the Master of Falun Dafa, who protected him and that Dafa could also protect them if they sincerely recited, “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
Later, the wife of a patient told me that she had listened to me and did recite these words to her husband. It was such a miracle! He used to suffer from extreme pain, even when he had taken three morphine pills. Yet, after reciting these magic words, he was able to sleep quietly all night long. This lady was the head of a township's propaganda department. Later, I gave her daughter the software to break through the CCP's Internet blockade and a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
My husband was released from the hospital after one week and is now fine. People can't tell that he had bypass surgery. A few days ago, he had a follow-up examination, and the doctor, whom I had told the facts about Dafa before, said to me, “He has recovered well. He has benefited from you.” I replied, “He received the benefit from my Master.”
