(Minghui.org) As a practitioner who gained a new life from practicing Falun Dafa, I am unable to express my gratitude to Teacher in mere words.
I can describe many marvels Falun Dafa is responsible for. But the most amazing thing that has happened as a result of practitioners having clarified the truth is that many police officers now praise practitioners who have suffered as a result of the persecution.
1. A Town's 610 Office Director Would Rather Starve Than Keep His Job
Many practitioners that lived in a certain mountainous town were persecuted relentlessly by 610 Office agents.
As time passed, the 610 Office director discovered that all the practitioners he came into contact with were honest and upright. They all lived by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, adhered to these principles in everything they did, and always looked inward.
He witnessed their courage in upholding the truth, refusing to renounce their belief, and their willingness to give up everything to protect Dafa. He said without hesitation that, because it was able to produce such wonderful disciples, Falun Dafa was indeed remarkable.
Recognizing the facts, he decided to treat Dafa and practitioners well. He resigned from his position as the 610 Office director and told the town leader that he would do anything but work at the 610 Office. He also invited practitioners to his home for dinner. When practitioners declined, he asked, “Is it because you don't forgive me? I am truly repenting. I'd rather be jobless than do that work.”
2. "If You Keep Talking I Will Be Learning Falun Dafa"
A fellow practitioner and I went to a remote mountainous region to tell people the facts about Falun Dafa in December 2009. Someone reported us and we were arrested and taken to the police station. We still had many pamphlets, DVDs, and talismans with us. But we held no fear, because we were there to save people. Since no practitioner lived in that region, and practitioners seldom went there to distribute informational materials, people there had little knowledge of Falun Dafa.
We began to send forth righteous thoughts as soon as we walked into the police station. We recited Lunyu and Hong Yin, told the police the facts about the practice, and urged them to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliates.
The police had only heard the lies publicized by the CCP media against Falun Dafa. I told them that Falun Dafa is a Buddha law and that it is our blessing to have it spread in China. It is beneficial to the society and the nation in every possible way, I told them, and the Tiananmen Square self-immolation was staged to discredit the practice. They all listened intently. We talked for about six hours without interruption. Many officers came to look in the window and listen from outside.
One officer said, “You can really speak well. You should be a Party director in the city.” Another said, “If you keep on talking, I will also become a Falun Dafa practitioner.” Another officer said, “It is remarkable that all you think of is saving other people.” As we were leaving, three officers asked us help them quit the CCP and its affiliates.
3. Political Director, “If the Tiananmen Square Immolation Was Staged, the CCP Is Without Shame.”
Several practitioners were arrested when we were watching the Tiananmen Square immolation DVD in 2002. We took the opportunity to educate the city officials. We talked about the fact that the gasoline-filled Sprite bottle that Wang Jindong was holding remained intact when he was on fire, that the police were all prepared for the fire when it started, and that 12-year-old Liu Siying could sing right after a tracheotomy.
Unable to find any excuse for the CCP, the political director said that if the Tiananmen Square immolation was indeed staged, the CCP was truly shameless.
4. Belief in Dafa Is UnshakableA practitioner in our area comes from a wealthy family, and her father was a powerful man in the city. She has been persecuted severely since 1999 when the CCP began its campaign to wipe out Falun Dafa.
But she has not wavered despite the pressure her family, friends, and the society have put on her. To stop her from practicing, her husband poured cold water over her head when she was mediating and banged his head against the wall to force her to stop. But she was unmoved.
Her employer fired her; her husband divorced her to avoid having the police extort funds from him; her father wanted to sever his relationship with her; and her relatives all left her.
But she continues in her belief and perseveres in telling people the facts about Falun Dafa. A police officer commented, “True practitioners of Falun Dafa are all like this. They all have unshakable belief.”
