(Minghui.org) We often encounter people from China while doing Falun Dafa activities, especially in Chinatown. I would like to share my experience in persuading the Chinese people I come across to listen to me clarify the truth about the persecution.
We want to inform the Chinese people about the truth of Falun Dafa, and encourage them to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliates. How we can introduce these topics depends on where we are at the time.
In China, we can start the conversation by discussing the enormous pressure our children have to shoulder in schools, the air pollution, and the corruption, and from there discuss the crimes the CCP has committed, including the persecution of Falun Gong. We can finish by talking to them about quitting the CCP.
In the Falun Dafa activities outside of China, we can talk about the Tiananmen self immolation incident, since most of the Chinese people have been poisoned by this lie. After the person understands what really happened, it is much easier to clarify the truth about the persecution to them. We can then talk about the many crimes committed by the CCP, including all the killing during its reign and the organ harvesting crimes inflicted on living Falun Gong practitioners.
We can go on to explain that the evildoers will eventually be punished, and to avoid going down with them, they should quit the CCP. When we talk to people of the younger generation, we can remind them that they are Chinese and not the offspring of Marx and Lenin. Tell them that when they joined the CCP's affiliates, their sworn statement of, “giving life to and fighting for communism” is absurd. We should advise them to void this vow and fight for themselves and their families. I think they would agree, and be willing to quit the CCP.
Everything in this world was created by Dafa, and a person will not have a future if they have bad thoughts about Falun Dafa. Hence I normally clarify the truth of the persecution first before I talk about quitting the CCP.
The Importance of Righteous Thoughts
It's not difficult to clarify the truth if we have righteous thoughts about saving people. We should remember that Teacher has arranged for us to encounter certain sentient beings in various situations. We are giving them the opportunity to listen to the truth. It is then their choice whether to believe it or not. We need to keep our minds calm regardless of how the other person reacts. We should not be afraid of being rejected. Every word the person hears from us has the power to dissolve the evil behind him. After he listens to us clarifying the truth enough times, he might just understand and quit the CCP.
We should try not to become frustrated if the other person refuses to listen or does not believe us, and we should never lose the confidence to continue clarifying the truth. Each time I fail to save a person, I remind myself that it was a test for me. If I stopped clarifying the truth in the future, it would make the old forces happy. I must continue my efforts, and eventually my human notions of frustration will be eliminated. As long as I continue to clarify the truth, Teacher will help me, and the wisdom I need will emerge whenever I need it. The more we clarify the truth, the better we will improve in doing so. It's a process that we need to go through.
It is of course very important that we are well informed and remember pertinent information needed to effectively clarify the truth. We can then easily answer any questions that are asked. If we don't know the details, we could stutter and stammer, and it may appear that we don't really know what we are talking about. This could prevent us from clarifying the truth effectively.
