(Minghui.org) Practitioners Ms. Xu Jing, Ms. Zhou Juxian, Ms. Zhuang Sancai, Mr. Li Shaogui, Mr. Zhou Fushuang and Ms. Xia Zongshui were tried unlawfully in Guangfeng County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province on June 6, 2014. Among the six practitioners, four of them were over 60 years old, and the other two were middle-aged women. Ms. Zhou Juxian represented herself during the trial, while the rest were defended by three civil right lawyers.
The trial began at 8:40 a.m. and lasted until 6:20 p.m. The judge used much of the time for questioning and the procurator denigrated Falun Gong. The lawyers had very little time to argue for the practitioners, and were constantly interrupted by the judge. The practitioners were accused of spray painting messages against the CCP.
The six practitioners were arrested in November 2013.
