(Minghui.org) In 1998 when I was in second grade, I was fortunate to start practicing Falun Dafa with my mother. After the persecution of Falun Dafa started in 1999, I stopped practicing for 10 years.
However, great and compassionate Master did not give up on me. In the summer of 2008, Master arranged for a practitioner to come to our house to get my mother back on the path of Dafa. During the winter of the following year, I also returned to Dafa.
“I Feel Great and Unburdened”
After returning to Dafa, I realized that a Dafa disciple's mission in life is to save sentient beings. Compassionate Master saw that I had the desire to save sentient beings, so He gave me a chance to fulfill that desire.
One morning a roommate read something confusing on an "official" Internet blog. She did not know what it meant. Seizing this opportunity, I told her the truth about the true nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and clarified the truth to her about Falun Dafa and the persecution.
When she agreed to quit the CCP, she gave a heartfelt sigh and said, “Ah! I feel so much better and relaxed.” I said, “Of course you do. It is because you have gotten rid of the CCP. There are divine deities protecting you now.”
Her Eyes Were Filled with Tears
One day I read in one of Master's lectures:
“In other words, where he is in his life and what he should do are all included in it. Who has arranged his life? It is obviously done by a higher life. For instance, in our ordinary human society, after birth one belongs to a certain family, a certain school, and upon growing up a certain workplace; various contacts in society are made through a person’s job. That is, the layout of the entire society has been planned this way.” (“Lecture Seven” in Zhuan Falun)
Out of nowhere, the name of a friend from elementary school appeared in my mind. I thought that my classmate and I must have a predestined relationship. Through an online social network, I found her.
Later, Master made an ingenious arrangement for us to meet. She spoke a lot about her personal problems when we met during the summer. I thought about what Master said: “So from now on, whatever you do or whatever you say, you must consider others...” (“Non-Omission in Buddha-Nature” in Essentials for Further Advancement)
I wasn't going to rush into telling her the truth. I wanted to patiently listen to what she had to say, from her point of view. I would also tell my views on how to live a good life.
Later, I helped her to view some truth-clarification materials on the phone. I also considered her situation and asked her to quit the CCP. The moment I was about to leave to return home, she agreed to quit the CCP. I saw tears in her eyes.
“So Beautiful!”
During summer this year, I went out of town for an internship. I clarified the truth to a classmate, mostly about quitting the CCP. She realized that the CCP is evil, but wouldn't immediately quit, and I didn't pressure her.
A few days later, I gave her a Shen Yun DVD and told her that she had to watch it, which she did.
Afterwards, she ran up to me and said, “Wow, the backdrop looks so real, it's really beautiful. I thought that the heavenly maidens really flew out of the backdrop in the beginning. The female hostess is really elegant both inside and out.”
When I again approached her about quitting the CCP, she agreed immediately.
Getting Rid of the Attachment of Fear and Saving Sentient Beings
After reading an article about the online Fa Conference last year, I realized how urgent it is to save sentient beings. So I got an idea to make truth clarifying materials.
I attached an older printer to my computer to print the materials. I bought this printer when I was in my third year at college. But when I connected it to a laptop, there was a problem, so it was put aside for a year.
This time, the computers and printers ran very smoothly. I realized that it worked because Master saw my pure desire to save sentient beings.
Even more amazing, the ink cartridge inside the printer was the same for a year; it didn't dry up. The truth clarification materials printed really smoothly.
At that time, my Master's degree exams were coming up. Students preparing for the exams filled the study room. They often left their books inside the study room. I went there during the evening and slipped envelopes containing truth clarification materials into their books.
Later, I printed a poster with truth clarification messages on it from the Minghui website. I wanted to put it in public places so that everyone could see it. So I put it inside the school.
I remember the first time I went to put up posters, I chose a stairway in a classroom building. I was still a little nervous, so I started to recite Master's Hong Yin III “What's to Fear?” Right after I put up two posters, a girl walked by, so I quickly put the rest of my posters in my bag. When she passed me, she didn't even give them a glance.
I quickly put up the rest of the posters. When I was about to finish, the girl came back. I finished and ran away, with my heart pounding in my chest.
After I ran down the stairs, I thought, "What I am doing is very righteous, why am I so scared? The gods in heaven could be watching."
Later when I put up posters, my mind became more calm. I recited Master's Fa: “For those who still persecute, The investigation shall be relentless.” (“The Red Tide Vanishes”in Hong Yin III) “One should focus on a broader perspective and practice cultivation in an upright and dignified manner.” (“Lecture Seven” in Zhuan Falun)
During that time, I often recited Master's Fa:
“Enter the temple in the woodsOne step and you've reached heaven.”(“One Thought”in Hong Yin III)
When I was copying Zhuan Falun, I often copied down this phrase: “Think about it everyone...”, I realized that Master was telling me to think, that every thought is important. When faced with choices, I must make them based on the Fa.
So whenever I hesitate, I just think about the reason I am hesitating. I look inside myself for why I am wavering. I have found that I have an attachment to fear and an attachment to selfishness. Whenever I find any attachments, I banish them from my mind. I ultimately make my choices with a righteous mind, and I never let a chance to clarify the truth go by.
Here, I would like to say to those of you who gained the Fa during your childhood and to those of you who are in either college or have a job: “Young Dafa disciples also shoulder the burden of saving sentient beings. We, too, must do the three things correctly, study the Fa well, and save more people. Then we can be worthy of the expectations of sentient beings and be worthy of Master's compassion and His arduous salvation.
