(Minghui.org) After Ms. Liu Hongshu left town for work, three police officers paid a surprise visit to her house, which she shared with her parents. They forced her 80-year-old parents to sign and fingerprint a document. The couple was traumatized, and both became ill afterward.

When Ms. Liu returned home, she was shocked to learn what had happened. The officers had a “search warrant,” and began searching their home. Her parents were too terrified to resist, and they did whatever the police ordered.

Under pressure, her mother opened Hongshu’s bedroom. After searching, the officers left with a number of Falun Gong books and Master Li’s portrait, but they did not give her parents a list of the items seized.

An officer grabbed Ms. Liu’s father’s right hand and forced him to put his fingerprint on a piece of paper. He also made him sign his name. The startled old man had no idea what was on the paper.

After the police visit, both parents became very sick. They did not dare to contact Hongshu, and kept silent about the ordeal.

Ms. Liu said, “They followed and monitored my activities for years. Even after I went to work in other cities, they followed and harassed me. The interference made my work and life very difficult.”

“This time I did not tell anyone where I was going to work. They could not find me, so they began to bully my elderly parents.”

The 610 Office agents have harassed and attempted to illegally arrest Liu Hongshu for years. Her family simply could not live a normal life.

The following is Liu Hongshu’s own account of the persecution.

Zaoshu Brainwashing Center

After I filed a lawsuit against the Xinjiang 610 Office for sending me to a forced labor camp, the Baoji City 610 Office in Shaanxi Province had me arrested in July 2013.

A number of local officials tricked me into leaving home, and they took me to Zaoshu Brainwashing Center in Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. These people included Tan Tao of Zhujiazhuang Township government, and eight of his subordinates, including Jiwu Village Party Secretary Cao Hongxing, Village Director Cao Baixing, and Yingsi production team head. They planned to force me to abandon my belief.

The Chinese communist regime has done all kinds of evil things, including harvesting organs from living practitioners and pushing naked female practitioners into male jail cells. There was no telling what they would do to me. My only choice was to let go of the fear of death and confront the evil Party’s persecution.

My personal freedom was taken away in the brainwashing center. Two guards were assigned to follow me every day. I was forced to watch videos that slandered Falun Gong and Master Li.

From short exchanges between the brainwashing personnel, I learned that they would send steadfast practitioners who refused to be "transformed" to a mental hospital. They refused to allow me to get my meals myself, and instead delivered them. I didn't trust them, because they could mix drugs into my food. When I insisted on getting my own meals from the canteen, they refused to allow it, so I began a hunger strike that lasted seven days. They finally, reluctantly sent me home.

Several times, Cao Hongxing, the Party secretary of Jiwu Village, promised to resume my salary after I returned from the brainwashing center. But when I asked him about my salary after I returned, he did not seem to recall his promise, saying that it was up to the township government to decide.

Recovery from Head Injury after Practicing Dafa

I was hit by a car when I was 22 years old. My head was injured and I suffered for years afterward. I had to use medication on a regular basis.

The cost of the medication added a huge burden to my family's meager income. My poor health prevented me from finding steady employment or a spouse. For ten years I lived in misery.

I began practicing Falun Gong in 1999, when I turned 32, and soon recovered my health. Being sickness free, I had high hopes for a new life.

I worked in a publication house in Xinjiang after the persecution started in 1999. I was arrested while clarifying the truth, and lost my job, and was sent to a forced labor camp.
