Mr. Su Junyi Taken to a Brainwashing Center

(Minghui.org) Police illegally arrested Mr. Su Junyi, a Falun Gong practitioner from Wujin County, Changzhou of Jiangsu Province at his home at around 10 p.m. on June 13. He is detained at a brainwashing center at the Jinhai International Grand Hotel in Hutang.

Police also ransacked his home and confiscated six computers, including two work related computers, two multifunctional printers, one CD/DVD burner, several hundred yuan, various Falun Gong books, and talismans.

Mr. Su Junyi, in his 50s, is a 28-generation lineal descendant of the famous Chinese literati, Su Dongpo, of the Song dynasty.

He is highly regarded by his friends and neighbors as a man with integrity and always willing to extend a helping hand. Mr. Su and his family have been persecuted since 1999. His brother and sister-in-law were both imprisoned. Mr. Su was often harassed and his home ransacked by police.

After Mr. Su’s latest arrest, the family went to the brainwashing center and demanded his release, but they were threatened. They are very concerned about his well being. And the family business has since stopped operating.

Changzhou 610 Office set up the brainwashing center on the first floor of Jinhai International Grand Hotel many years ago. Many Falun Gong practitioners have been persecuted there.
