(Minghui.org) On June 25, Mayor of Blacktown Len Robinson announced that the Divine Land Marching Band won first place in the annual city cultural festival parade for the band division.

Blacktown is in the middle of Sydney, consisting of 48 districts with a population 330,000, hailing from more than 30 cultures.
The Falun Gong group was invited to perform at the annual city cultural festival for the first time in 2000. It has won first place for the last seven years.
This year, the Falun Gong entry consisted of the Divine Land Marching Band, a float, and a waist drum team.

Their performances were warmly welcomed by the spectators. The mayor praised their contribution to cultural diversity in Blacktown, and congratulated the Falun Gong entry on their first place finish in the band category.
