Additional Persecution News from China – June 12, 2014 (8 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 6 provinces. According to this report, at least 14 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhao Zunwei Arrested

1. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhao Zunwei Arrested

Mr. Zhao Zunwei was recently arrested and taken to the Banqiao Brainwashing Center.

2. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Liu Meilian and Ms. Xiaolian were arrested on June 10, 2014, because they were talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

3. [Jintan City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wang Lanfang Arrested

Ms. Wang Lanfang was recently arrested at work by two dozen officers from the Jintan Court and the Zhixi Police Station. She was handcuffed and shackled.

While the police were arresting Ms. Wang, her husband, son, and other relatives rushed to her office as soon as they heard about the arrest. Her handicapped husband was brutally pushed to the floor by four officers, and his face, shoulders, and arms were injured.

4. [Guangan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Xueshu Arrested

Ms. Liu Xueshu was arrested by officers from the Beichen Police Station on the morning of June 10, 2014, for distributing Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs.

5. [Beijing] Three Practitioners DetainedMs. Hou Shuqin, 68, along with two others, named Li, and Niu, were arrested on May 7, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were held at the Huilongguan Police Station, and may have been transferred to the Changping Detention Center.

6. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Tang Yubao was arrested at home by officers, including Zhang Liping from the Industrial Park Police Station in Lingbei Town, on the afternoon of June 5, 2014. The police confiscated a photo of the founder of Falun Gong, the founder's lectures, Minghui Weekly, Zhuan Falun, and other personal items.

Mr. Li Zhanyuan, from Linggang District, was also arrested and taken to a detention center on June 6, 2014.

7. [Xian City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. He Yuzhen Arrested

Ms. He Yuzhen, 72, was recently arrested at home.

8. [Beijing] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Liu Guilan and three other practitioners visited a patient on June 9, 2014. They were arrested in the parking lot after the visit and taken to the Haidian District Xisanqi Police Station. They were transferred to the Haidian District Detention Center the next day and put under criminal detention. Ms. Qi Qi was released on bail due to health problems.
