Additional Persecution News from China – June 5, 2014 (11 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from mainland China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 6 provinces. According to this report, 3 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 18 practitioners were illegally arrested.

11. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Fu Yanfei Detained

1. [Xichang City, Sichuan Province] Nine Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zhang Jiacheng, Ms. Tao Shaoyu, Ms. Luo Hongmin, Ms. Wang Guilan, Ms. Lei Fengying, Ms. Yue, Ms. Fan, Ms. Yang Shihui, and Ms. Yang were arrested by Xichang City Domestic Security Division officers on June 3, 2014, while studying the Fa together. They were released that evening.

2. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang E Arrested

Ms. Wang E was arrested by officers from the Tangchi Police Station on June 4, 2014.

3. [Qishan County, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Song Hongqi Detained

Mr. Song Hongqi was arrested by officers from the Qishan County 610 Office on June 3, 2014. He was later taken to Baoji City to be detained.

4. [Jining City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Guiyun Detained

Ms. Li Guiyun is being held at the Jining City Detention Center.

5. [Jing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Sun Suying's Son's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Sun Suying's son owns an advertising company in Zaoqiang County. He was recently arrested and his whereabouts are unknown. His company has recently been seized.

6. [Huaian County, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Xiulin and Ms. Zhou Fenglian Detained

Ms. Li Xiulin and Ms. Zhou Fenglian were arrested by officers from the Railway Police Station on May 5, 2014, for talking to people at the Chaigoubao Railway Station about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are being held at the Chenzhuang Detention Center of Datong Police Department of Taiyuan Railway Bureau.

7. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Qin Yongjie Being Held in Weifang Detention Center

8. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Fenglong Detained

Ms. Wang Fenglong was arrested by Fangshan District Police Department officers on April 25, 2014. Her computer, a printer, paper bills with facts about the persecution of Falun Gong on them, and small speakers were confiscated. She is being held at the Fangshan Detention Center.

9. [Junan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Xiao Mingxia Detained

Ms. Xiao Mingxia was arrested at the Junan County Railway Station by officers from the Junan County 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division on June 1, 2014. She is being held at the Junan Detention Center.

10. [Shanghai] Ms. Huang Qiaoqin in Critical Condition

Ms. Huang Qiaoqin was arrested on November 25, 2013, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is being held at the Xuhui District Detention Center in Shanghai.

She is now too weak to eat in the detention center and her weight has dropped from 65 kg to 35 kg. She is also losing her vision and can barely see.

11. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Fu Yanfei Detained

Ms. Fu Yanfei was arrested by officers from the Erdao District Jilinjie Police Station on June 2, 2014, because she talked to people about Falun Gong. She is being held at the Weizigou Detention Center.
