(Minghui.org) My 77-year-old mother was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2010. Her doctor suggested that the cancer be surgically removed at a cost of more than 50,000 yuan. Because of her age and the stage of the cancer, there was no guarantee that the surgery would be successful.
We discussed the situation with my mother and decided to schedule the surgery.
However, she then insisted, “I want to practice Falun Dafa with my daughter. I will accept my fate if I should die.” She did not have the operation.
Practicing Falun Dafa
My mother is illiterate, so I played Master's Fa teaching DVD for her and taught her the five exercises. When she was first learning the exercises, she sweat constantly, and it stank and smelled of the disease and medication.
I took my mother to see a specialist three days after she started practicing Falun Dafa. She cried and said in the CT scan room, “You let me practice Falun Dafa. But, you also take me to see a doctor. How can Master take care of me?” Seeing my mother's strong will, I was relieved. We no longer talked about seeing doctors.
Master Is Compassionate
My mother once blamed Master for my being persecuted and, in the past, said something that should never have been said. She asked me if Master would forgive her. I said, “Master is very compassionate. He will forgive you. You just cultivate diligently.” I then helped her prepare a solemn statement negating what she had said against Dafa and Master.
Mother is now 81 years old and very healthy. In her four years of cultivation, she has never taken any medication or had any medical treatment. Her bladder cancer was cured.
This convinced our relatives and friends of the truth about Falun Dafa. When my second cousin was diagnosed with a uterine tumor, her mother said, “Practice Falun Dafa with your aunt. She returned to good health after cultivating in Falun Dafa. Look at her. She is healthier than we are. She walks firmly.”
Telling People about the Goodness of Falun Dafa
Although she is a new practitioner, my mother tells everyone that Falun Dafa is good. At a relative's wedding, my mother clarified the facts about Falun Dafa to a big group of guests in a restaurant hall. That scared my aunt, who quickly stopped her to keep her from being arrested. But my mother said, “Nothing is to be afraid of. Indeed, Falun Dafa is good!”
My mother and I sometimes have clarified the facts about Falun Dafa together on a bus and on the streets. She tells how she was cured. She also gives them flyers about the practice and Falun Dafa amulets.
She told me, “I cannot say anything else except to tell people to recite 'Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good' and to read the flyer.” I encouraged her, “Mother, you did well. They will understand the facts after they read the flyer.”
Mother asks me to send her regards to Master and thank Him for saving her life!
