(Minghui.org) Practitioners held an event near the City Hall in old town Bremen, Germany on April 26, 2014 to expose the brutal persecution in China. They called attention to the Communist regime's crimes of forced organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.

Many stopped at practitioners' information booth and took materials. A common question was: “Why does the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecute Falun Gong?” Passersby wondered why a good practice was persecuted and how the CCP could gain anything by persecuting law-abiding citizens.
Christoph, a practitioner and a legal professional, explained: “The CCP has been doing the same thing in its decades of reign. It suppresses independent thought and tries to stamp out all spiritual pursuits. It is no different than the CCP 50 years ago. If we understand its vicious nature, we won't be surprised by its crimes.”
Some condemned the persecution, but wondered whether their signatures would help. A practitioner named Christina responded: “The Minghui website publishes first-hand persecution news from China. The policemen and prison guards in China become fearful when seeing their crimes exposed on the Internet. They are also deterred by international support for Falun Gong. This curbs the persecution and saves lives.”
“I would also ask you to think of this question,” said Christina, “What would it be like if no one bothered to say 'no' to the persecution?” She continued, “Thinking about it this way, one can easily see how important an event in Germany is to help those persecuted in China.”
Once they learned about the persecution, many passers-by asked what more they could do to help Falun Gong practitioners. A woman from Bulgaria who was studying international law in Bremen, signed the petition. She said, “The persecution is against basic human rights. It must be stopped.”
